Dear Bishop Brossart Students, Families, and Community,

Bishop Brossart is pleased to announce our new head football coach, Rob Howard.

Coach Howard is a Newport Central Catholic graduate of 1994. He is married to his wife, Jenny, of 12 years and has four children: Jackson 13, Elijah 11, Samantha 7, and Genevieve 6. Coach Howard was the founder of Thunder Youth Sports in Campbell County, he is the vice president of Thunder Youth Sports, and was previously the Head Coach of Thunder Football prior to accepting this position. Coach Howard is excited about the opportunity at Bishop Brossart and we look forward to his leadership with the football program.

Football players will be hearing from Coach Howard when the diocese dead period is over. Practice times will be announced at that time.

Thank you,

Adam Franzen

BBHS Athletic Director

Good luck to Coach Howard and the BBHS football team!

Congrats Coach Howard.

Sounds like a great hire!

Wonder if his father-in-law be joining his staff at BBHS?

Who is his FIL?

Rob will do a great job. I'm sure he'll pick the brain of his father-in-law who is a well respected coach. Good luck Rob!

Wow, I thought that he would be too busy w/ the Thunder to run this. Congrats to Rob. If you want a person who has the kids best interest at heart, but will demand excellence, he's your guy. Interested in how much experience he has at the varsity level. I can't remember if he helped out at NewCath or not.

Thats a big jump from youth league to trying to save an entire high school program from crashing...

Where did he coach last year?

He is gone.

Really, I was hoping that it would work out for them.

Can you expand on your answer. ^^^^^^^^^^^

Email sent saying that Howard is out and Wiggins is the new HC.

Howard is out Wiggins is in. What a mess.

Just checked Thunder Page.

His pee wee team did not win a game last year>

Great Hire
