Brent Bach, Augusta's all-time leading scorer in basketball, spent part of Saturday afternoon shooting jumpers with another famous Augusta hoops alum: George Clooney. Clooney was in Augusta for a family reunion and wandered over to the basketball court behind St. Augustine Catholic Church and school where Bach and some buddies were playing.

He may be in shape, but I don't think he'd knock down some of the shots that Bach has. :sssh:

I am sure George's game is not what it used to be. Too many nights at the Conservatory during his college years, or should I say year.

That is a really cool thing to read about. I am glad he recognized Bach and what he has done for the Augusta community. Nice to see George come back to his roots also, the guy is worth hundreds of millions.

He was in Caproni's restaurant this weekend. A couple weeks after my daughter's last weekend working there.

 

She says it's just as well, as she probably would have made him have second thoughts about his engagement. She doesn't want to be known as a homewrecker.

That's pretty cool. Could you imagine hoopin with your buddies and then George Clooney walks up. Bach should have banged one on George. That kid has major hops

On a side note, I was in Augusta tonight for a couple of hours. No one took my picture.
