Not sure why you would post rankings made by a 14 year old boy. Any case its laughable that he has Morton ranked below Perry, Levitch, Stafford, Pepper, and Johnson for starters.

Agreed, but I have seen him three times and he really needs to be coached up on defense.

 

I can't disagree with that comment. However, I'd say that goes for many of the kids with D1 offers. It's apparent to me that these coaches don't see being a good defender as a prerequisite to playing at their schools!

Any list that doesn't have Hagen Tyler in the top 10 isn't credible . And a list composed by a 14 yr old kid is definitely not credible IMO

I'd be interested in seeing the person who made this list update it. I think we all can agree that Sutton is much higher and Brandon Johnson would likely move up also.

Also, neither Holman nor Tyler are on this December list.

This list is on a national site.. I am not one for ranking kids. I think you do have 5 maybe 6 guys that really separate themselves apart from others. Every one else depends on what you value on the court. All kids on this list can play. I think this list pulls from Rick Bolus list a little.

The funny thing is, I've seen Bolden against atleast 3 of the pg's ranked ahead of him and he outplayed all three of them. One high school coach told me "Those kids are nationally ranked??" when watching a game with Bolden against two of the three.

 

Justice is also better than some of the guards listed ahead of him and proved it when he was healthy this summer.

 

Outside of Spalding, not a lot of love for the KY talent.

 

Kids like AJ Harris, Hyron Edwards, and while Gametime might not agree with me, an argument could even be made that Justin Jenifer should not be ranked ahead of Justice or Bolden.

Also, neither Holman nor Tyler are on this December list.

 

Which is absurd to say the least.

Start with Bolden, Spalding, and Justice, then go from there. I'll be surprised if one of those 3 doesn't win Mr. Basketball.

 

Dwayne Sutton (Manual) has probably done the most for himself in terms of exposure and movement up these lists over the past year.

I agree. Problem is too much emphasis is put on athletism versus results.

 

Drew, along with others, played against elite competition in the EYBL. Spaulding quitting forced McDonald to play out of position and against opponents 2 to 4 inches taller.

 

Drew's numbers didn't drop. Still was the top 2 in most statistical categories. Second in points. Second in rebounds. First in blocks. Drew is able to adjust and play multiple role effectively.

 

For a big man his passing skills are above average and IQ is off the charts.

 

While there are players that score more or rebound more the complete game does not compare (IMO).

 

6'8" who can post up, rebound, bang down low, handle the ball, pass and step out and shoot the 3.
