Ben Carson...possible POTUS?

Featured Replies

I believe Bill is still considered very popular among black Americans.

Doesn't matter, he will still not turn them out and get greater numbers than dems get anyway, as Obama did.

A white man was in office when many believe the US started getting off track, that being W.

Goes back further.

So why did it only start getting hysterically vocal in 2008?

The verbiage may have changed over the years, but many of you felt the same way about President Bush, his father, President Clinton and President Reagan.

I don't recall the "take our country back" mantra being used much before 2008 except for in film clips of white supremacist rallies.

You must have missed the prior twenty years, or more.

Exactly. Everyone always thinks there's something new going on. There isn't.

Oh please, you can't be serious. You're too young to be that forgetful.

So now your equating Bill Clinton with White Supremacist?...I thought you only bashed politicians from the right. :lol2:

While speaking at an event in Kentucky, former President Bill Clinton urged his followers to be like the protesters in Ukraine who forced the regime in that country to flee.

“’Give us back our country!,’ that’s what I want you to say in the [midterm] election.” he said, apparently urging supporters to engage in lawlessness

And, let's not forget that one of Bill Clinton's mentors was a "white supremacist".

The difference between Obama and Carson is that Obama has experience as a senator. Carson does not. Carson may have a good career in the medical field, but Obama has been a politician his entire career. Thus, he's more equipped to relate to the people.

A politician is more equipped to relate to people than a DOCTOR? Really, this may be one of the silliest things you've posted.

Yes. Politicians convince people to vote for them whether they deserve the votes or not. I don't understand how it is even a debate about who is more equipped to relate to people. I'd say there are thousands more doctors unable to relate to people at the level of a politician. Being able to heal people doesn't mean they can relate to people. I know plenty of doctors with zero people skills.

That's not relating to people, you think Nancy Pelosi or John Boener relate to PP and your life? No, they might be able to convince you they are the lesser of two evils and get your vote but that's not relating to people, IMO.

So by that reasoning we should only elect used car salesmen, because they convince people to make bad decisions everyday.
