May 21, 201412 yr So far, I'm all in! A thoughtful, honest, smart, human being...what a novel idea for the leader of our country.
May 21, 201412 yr Never been this excited about a possible presidential candidate since Reagan! I wish he would make up his mind about running, he still hasn't committed. Pretty much love everything he has to say.
May 21, 201412 yr Dr. Carson is one a very few potential candidates that I would enthusiastically support.
May 22, 201412 yr I would vote for him His foreign policy is where Hillary would kill him as bad as I hate to say it
May 22, 201412 yr Now that's a man I would vote for ! Doesn't hate white people what a schock . If he'd get a running mate like Ted Cruz or Luoie Gohmert we might get back to how this country was meant to be.
May 22, 201412 yr I would vote for him His foreign policy is where Hillary would kill him as bad as I hate to say it Foreign policy is what will kill Hillary Clinton. When it comes to her record on foreign policy, Clinton will be playing defense no matter who her opponent is. The potential Republican field of candidates is a very strong one, which is why the Republican establishment and national media is in such a panic. If Republicans actually nominate Jeb Bush or Chris Christie to run against Hillary Clinton, then they will deserve to lose. If Ben Carson chooses to run, he will be the smartest candidate in the race, with the possible exception of Ted Cruz and both of them have as much knowledge of foreign policy as Jeb or Christie do.
May 22, 201412 yr I would vote for him His foreign policy is where Hillary would kill him as bad as I hate to say it Benghzi will finish her. Just you wait shes going to take the fall for Obama on this

May 22, 201412 yr Obviously a smart man and I really like what he's saying but....what are his qualifications to be president? Lots of smart people, lots of good ideas. The issue is can he lead and turn his ideas into actions? Has he ever had a leadership position? Has he had a position where he had to bring diverse groups together?
May 22, 201412 yr Author Obviously a smart man and I really like what he's saying but....what are his qualifications to be president? Lots of smart people, lots of good ideas. The issue is can he lead and turn his ideas into actions? Has he ever had a leadership position? Has he had a position where he had to bring diverse groups together? He has served on the Board of Directors of several companies and held leadership roles as a Doctor. IMO any non-political experience is a plus...we need a President that doesn't think like a politician and a President who isn't afraid to think. By comparison our current President has proven that all of that experience wasn't needed.
May 22, 201412 yr Disagree, I think our current President has proven that good experience is absolutely needed. Don't get me wrong, I think the guy is brilliant, I just wonder if he has what it takes to make his ideas work.
May 22, 201412 yr Now that's a man I would vote for ! Doesn't hate white people what a schock . If he'd get a running mate like Ted Cruz or Luoie Gohmert we might get back to how this country was meant to be. Out of curiosity...back to what, exactly? Just trying to establish at what point we took a wrong turn.
May 22, 201412 yr Out of curiosity...back to what, exactly? Just trying to establish at what point we took a wrong turn. That's the sort of sentiment that drives me crazy too. It pervades a lot of thinking about a lot of different things. But that sort of Edenic ideal of a time lost that we struggle to get back to is pointless. There can be a great country and great world ahead, but it lies forward not backward. To think otherwise is willful disregard for the problems of decades and centuries past.
