In my experiences they have done absolutely nothing to help me and I get just as much help going to a walk-in clinic and using google.When you're older, you will likely need to have one. Hell, everyone over 25 should see a doctor at least once a year. Are you telling me you've had a memorable relationship with a politician? A president?

Not all successful politicians are. James Rogan, who managed the impeachment of Bill Clinton, met both Bill Clinton and Ronald Reagan as a high school student. Rogan was a political junkie who would ditch classes to attend political speeches. In his book Rough Edges: My Unlikely Road from Welfare to Washington, Rogan describes meeting both Clinton and Reagan following speeches that he attended. Reading the book gave me a better appreciation of both men's political skills. They were both people persons. Ben Carson impresses me as a people person as well, but his lack of political experience may limit his appeal in what would be his first campaign. Reagan and Clinton both had vast experience with campaigning and using the media as a tool, which complimented their personal ability to charm a room. I highly recommend Rogan's book. It is very entertaining and much less political than I expected. It is a shame that Clinton's impeachment destroyed Rogan's political career and led to him being black balled as a potential federal judge as well.
May 31, 201412 yr No, it's silly. Just because Obama can read a teleprompter in public doesn't mean he relates to you. And Obama has proven he is not a leader and doesn't have leadership qualities. Obama also was not experienced/qualified to be president. I watch Obama speak often. I have never seen the use of a teleprompter.

May 31, 201412 yr From what I saw, he was as hated or more than people claim Obama is. Not from this guy. I wasn't a fan of some of his decisions but he's #1 on my list of presidents to have a beer with.

I'm close to a "president". There isn't a person in the world I can't relate to.

Bush (or Dr. Ben Carson) had hauled a presidential podium and dual screen teleprompter into an elementary school classroom to deliver a speech. Question, liberals, why does an articulate, experienced politician need a teleprompter to address a small audience in a school classroom? The answer is that he doesn't. Being able to read well from a teleprompter does not make a person articulate. Had the teleprompter never been invented, we may have been spared an Obama presidency.
