My conservative guesstimate has it at about 50-55 percent. It's 75 percent with just one or the other.

The way I grew up, we were lucky to get what we got, $40 for shoes would have been out of the question. Might just as well have asked for $300, the answer would have been the same.

I could get any pair of Jordan's I want and I buy used Asics on eBay for $30-40 lol. I consider it a sign of getting old, just a waste of money.

The only Jordan's I would pay "big" money for are some 11's. I've had some 13's before, not too many others really do it for me.

Not that anyone on this board is implying this, but I don't get people who are upset that Beats only cost $16 to make and sell for up to $500 and $600. I'll tell you one thing, the marketing director for that company should bring home a fat check, because however you can convince people to pay that much is genius.

 

BTW, I do have a pair of Beats, but they are the Solos (Retail $120 at the time I got them for Christmas) and my parents are coupon experts, so I believe they cost "only" $75.

Beats are overrated in terms of price. Tried on a pair of Parrott Zik headphones that same day and wish I'd have gotten them instead.

I'm an audio video nut, beats are extremely overrated in my opinion. Some of the lower end Sennheiser headphones blow them away in overall quality, for much, much less money. Studio grade headphones from some of the audiophile companies can be had for around the same price of midrange beats and are superior in every aspect, even low range frequencies, which beats is making their living off of. I can see paying top dollar for high end headphones if you use them a lot and want the best quality sound you can get, but there are far better headphones than beats for that kind of money.
