Clyde
How is it different from iTunes? No downloads to a device. You pay a monthly fee to listen to music.

PurplePride92
Is it safe to assume that the headphones that come with a phone purchase will get an upgrade?
HammerTime
Is it safe to assume that the headphones that come with a phone purchase will get an upgrade? Maybe stream music wireless on the headphones connected to wifi? Can you do that already? I wouldn't ever pay $150 for a pair of headphones so I don't own a pair of beats. I wouldn't pay that much either but I'll take an option of marshmallow earbuds or something better than those sorry factory headphones they give us. Jumper_Dad
Does this mean Beats will start coming with a different plug that won't fit any thing else
CBDV
At one time Monster Cable was the distributor/manufacturer of Beats by Dre. That relationship was severed a year or two ago....bet they are not happy. Average headphones at best.......

rjs4470
No downloads to a device. You pay a monthly fee to listen to music. How would that be different from Itunes radio, which doesn't have a fee??
CBDV
At best? I strongly disagree... Yes. For the money you pay for Beats top end, you are getting into Focal/Sennheiser/Audio-Technica/V-Moda territory.
Colonels_Wear_Blue
My assumption is that the Beats streaming audio business will no longer be in existence within 6 months.
Clyde
How would that be different from Itunes radio, which doesn't have a fee?? My understanding is that you can't create custom play lists in ITunes radio. That's a big deal. Plus Beats already has agreements in place with record companies that are better than Apple might get. John Anthony
I have heard that beats are lacking in the sound department but not in the popularity department.
