Maybe stream music wireless on the headphones connected to wifi? Can you do that already? I wouldn't ever pay $150 for a pair of headphones so I don't own a pair of beats.

I wouldn't pay that much either but I'll take an option of marshmallow earbuds or something better than those sorry factory headphones they give us.

At one time Monster Cable was the distributor/manufacturer of Beats by Dre. That relationship was severed a year or two ago....bet they are not happy.

Yes.

 

For the money you pay for Beats top end, you are getting into Focal/Sennheiser/Audio-Technica/V-Moda territory.

My assumption is that the Beats streaming audio business will no longer be in existence within 6 months.

My understanding is that you can't create custom play lists in ITunes radio. That's a big deal.

 

Plus Beats already has agreements in place with record companies that are better than Apple might get.

I have heard that beats are lacking in the sound department but not in the popularity department.
