I believe he used to work with Super at his previous stop. To my understanding they have had a falling out...all Super does is chase his tail.

No coach will want this job! Unless its a coach that is retired. No coach will leave their current job for this one. Bart Rison should coach again! That's the last coach they have had that lasted very long.

If this is true, that's very sad....

It is tough to hire a staff from the previous coach, many times their loyalty lies with the past coach and not the current.

Unless Coach Holland was doing something inappropriate or unethical (which I 100% sincerely doubt), the assistants should not be a factor in whether the head coach stays on. If true, shame on them........and magnifies the job Coach Holland did if the camp was divided???????????

I understand coach Holland wants to get into administration and watch his daughter play. Was 14-0 at one point during the season and had to meet with Superintendant. He was miserable there.

Not just this thread, and not just any recent happenings----but from the horror stories you constantly hear about......why would anyone in their right mind want to coach these days? (Under the college or pro level where you make millions of dollars for the constant ridicule and scrutiny). I would coach for that amount of money :banana:

Not all programs are horror stories.

 

Some are quite enjoyable to work in. Ours has had two head coaches in the past 18 years. Our administration stays out of our way, we have great kids, parential support, and we all know our roles.
