Wow. That was a short stay, wasn't it? Whose decision was it?

Don't know that, was going around town this morning.

I've heard from someone who has been a great source throughout the season that this is the case.

I hate to hear that, seems as though Coach Holland did a great job even though he did not make it to the sweet 16 this season. If this is true I am sure it wont take long for him to land another job. Also, if this is true, I am sure the administration of Montgomery county has someone in mind.

Who knows? the leadership in Montgomery County is a total disaster! It is really too bad for the students. Coach Holland ended the season with a record of 29-3 and fell one game short of the state tournament. He was a good ambassador for the schools as well. I cant imagine that any quality candidates would be interested in this position. Three coaches in three years?! What a mess!

They had a great season. Very good coach. What a shame. I wish coach holland the best.

I'd take 29-3 most every year. Something going on behind the scenes that we are unaware of that would justify a move or just too many cooks in the kitchen?

I'm not saying it was all Montgomery County's fault since Osborne left so quickly of his own volition, but to have gone 62-8 in two years and yet be about to have your fifth head coach in five years, that's not good for stability of the program. This should be a time that they are forging into a dominant program, not constantly dealing with turnover and all the things that come with it.

5 in 5 is crazy for a program with the reputation and success of MoCo.

I don't understand this move at all. There was no shame in Montgomery losing to a Campbell County team that was really good & hit its stride during the post season. There wasn't a team in the Region with a better trio than Campbell's Jackson, Holbrook, & Wilson.
