A lot if that was Choo and Votto. He hit abnormally high with RISP. You and others didn't think it was a fluke. It was. This years he's been awful with RISP. Also a fluke. Guys hit close to the same avg with guys on than with bases empty for their career.

But he did it. End of story. I've never banged the drum for BP at the plate. His numbers are what they are. Relax man, enjoy the win.

I am hoping to help the guy out. If he were right' date=' it would feed the belief. But being wrong, does it get ignored? Ahhh ... I see. So no matter what happens, it works. :thumb:[/quote'] All in fun my friend. I don't believe in jinxes, not superstitious, but I like to have some fun with it in the Reds and Wildcats threads.

No way the Reds take 3 of 4 from the Pirates.:sssh::sssh: :walk:

Friendly suggestion - you are probably better off keeping that Dusty Baker talk out of Reds threads.

Just saying I can see why he did it... He's not the only manager in the league that would do that if he had the chance.... Maybe he comes out to day with Meso in the 3/4/5 hole and you see Luddy or BP moved down, and I would see why he did that also.

Its crazy how much Hamilton's speed can affect a game.

I think it was Votto, during his interview series with Lance, that said of Hamilton "He's a human run when he gets on base." Pretty accurate IMO.

Obviously a George Grande fan.

Raco, Rocco, Mes, whatever you want to call him, the dude is raking the ball and I love it.

He's one of those players in baseball where no matter what I'm doing if I see he is up to bat or on base I will stop and watch just to see what happens.

Reds are 8-4 when Hamilton gets a hit.

0-5 when he fails to get on base via hit/BB/HBP.

He also said it was the first hitter that ever offered him protection. He said he sees fastballs in areas he never got them before. It's crazy how much pressure he puts on the pitcher and defense when he's on.

Offense has been on a roll, I don't think he will be tinkering with the lineup at this time.

As HT said last night on Twitter. Just imagine what it will be like when he is hitting with a little more consistency. Which he seems to be doing during this stretch.

Small sample size but his impact when he gets on base is undeniable.

.333 last 7 games. He's on pace for 70 steals currently. Votto cost him one last night or it would be higher. He gets that average up around .250 he might approach 90-100.

I can't find how many times if at all he's reached base on an error, but I did see has 9 runs with 17 hits and 3 walks. I wonder how many other people score nearly half the time they reach base?
