Cunningham is currently attending Henry Clay? Left Cordia after the season.

He is visiting Boston U this weekend.

Yes. He, Brent and Cunningham were on the same team along with owens and wigington.

It's a tryout. They've never practiced together. What exactly are they supposed to do? Run plays?

The tryout is NOT and NEVER will be the sole determining factor. A lot o these kids have been seen during the season by these coaches or during the tournament. That's where the coaches formed their opinions.

Pick and roll. Pass and cut. These kids ain't passing. Don't have to run plays but do something other than 1 against 5.

Why have tryouts then?

I agree on the tryouts. You should just invite the kids who are on the bubble.

Also had one from Jacksonville State, but he's committing to Austin Peay. Signing is Monday.

If anyone hasn't seen him play, this is his highlight:

Thats the big problem, these kids don't know how to "play basketball." You dont have to "run plays" to play basketball. What about a pass and cut (cant do that because it required a pass which didnt happen on 75% of the "possessions." A pick and roll, an offball screen??? But it is much easier/and flashier to put your head, shoulder, eyes down and try to get to the rim against 5 guys. Kentucky has some talented kids.....just dont know that it will carry them through against a loaded Indiana team.

As long as that is a point of emphasis in terms of getting the call, offenses will do that as long as they have a guy who can break players down.

As for the tryout, how did Schulte from NewCath look?

A few people who have posted stating that they were at the tryout but I did not see anyone answer the question on whether Brandon Hatton showed up? If he showed up and and didn't make this team there is something wrong for a player that was 1st team All-State not to be on it and with the resume he has. However, if he was invited and did not show up that is another issue and it's may be warranted but his body of work clearly speaks for itself as I am not sure how many of these other players that made the team played varsity since the 7th grade or are their respective regions All-time leading scorer. Just MO.

Sorry....I thought that had been answered......Hatton was there.
