We were talking about that yesterday before the game about how many players actually continue to produce at a high level after getting "Paid". Seems to be a short list in MLB, there are some but seems way to many times players play out of their mind in Free Agent/Contract year and then noticeably drop after signing long term deal.

I am in absolutely no way saying that this is true about Homer Bailey, but it would 100% not surprise me that a player is juicing for a few years and getting away with it. Signs that huge contract. Then jumps off the juice so that they don't get caught and fully tarnish the reputation.

Hopefully it's more to do with the groin injury from spring than him just not being good. If he falls off his production that contract is going to be a major problem.
