March 23, 201412 yr Kentucky being an 8, this is the best 8 seed ever, period. Maybe, but Butler, UNC, Wisconsin and UCLA all made the Final Four as 8 seeds. Villanova won the title as an 8 in '85. We have a LONG way to go. Still, though- Go Cats!

Because I said all along that some conferences always have the bias advantage and because UK got shafted with a 8 seed while another team, I won't mention the name, got a gift of a much too high seed and lostin the first round. March 23, 201412 yr If that guy (don't remember his name) had hit that final shot, we would have hated him for 20 years, too! True, he and the UK player (I won't name names) who missed the back end of the double bonus to give WS a shot at winning the game at the end.

March 23, 201412 yr A lot of people owe the Harrison's an apology, me included. Man have they stepped up these last 4-5 games. Amazing how far this team has came in 2 weeks. You know Cal is just licking his chops to take some shots at the media this week.

For instance the two no calls on a Young drive and on Dakari after he got the offensive rebound. Those were the two most physical plays of the game, and neither got a call. Take off the Red glasses. This is the first and only time I've ever posted about refs. Never said they cheated, just thought the whistles were a little quick on the other end. Now, WSU did a better job of attacking the rim early but still.
