A lot of people owe the Harrison's an apology, me included. Man have they stepped up these last 4-5 games. Amazing how far this team has came in 2 weeks.

Not even close, they were 12-22 from the floor. They took 1 maybe 2 bad shots. Scored half the Cats points.

I think the biggest UK fans in this game were the ticket scalpers in Indianapolis. I am sure there is going to be quite the demand for tickets now that UL/UK are playing. Should be a dandy!

I think what makes me happiest about this is they took Wichita State's 'A' game and still won. Now granted, UK played an 'A' game for most of the day too, but still, beat a team that shot 55.1% from the field, 47.6% from three on 21 attempts (and that was after a couple of late misses when they got a bit desperate).... UK didn't beat them when they had an off day. They got to put on display that there was a legitimate reason people thought they were that good.

Best they have played especially in the second half.......Time to clip some wings!!!!!!!!

Still don't think they're ready for the pros, but I'll call them numbskulls less often.

 

Agreed, but we have people saying the should be benched for Polson. Silliness.

It really wasn't. For instance the two no calls on a Young drive and on Dakari after he got the offensive rebound. Those were the two most physical plays of the game, and neither got a call.

 

Take off the Red glasses. This is the first and only time I've ever posted about refs. Never said they cheated, just thought the whistles were a little quick on the other end. Now, WSU did a better job of attacking the rim early but still.

 

I can't have a discussion with you about this, because I'll be a troll. The only reason the refs were an "issue" in the first half is because UK didn't attack the basket. If I need to take my glasses off, you do as well.

How about Coach Cal? For all the flack he's taken this year the Cats look pretty good right now. May not have the win-loss record us Cats fans would like but the team is clicking on clicking on all cylinders.

Exactly, and that's all that matters anyway. I'd love to have won more regular season games, but aside from seeding they really mean nothing once you start the tourney. All about getting your team playing its best ball once the tourney starts and through all the ups and downs I think Cal has done that. Excellent job!
