I just say what I witness. Last year I talked about another pitcher and he ended up being arguably the best on the team last year, not Dunn, so I hope you are not implying I am wearing blinders.

You commented who he had beat and I gave you some history. Just trying to answer your question. If you didn't want answers to your question I wouldn't have answered. It was a question correct? Yes! That's what I thought!

 

So from your post #76-he beat CovCath his Junior year and Clyde added that he shut down Highlands this year. The answer to the question then is two teams...see how two can play that game?

Just curious to how in one post you say he may be the second best on the team but he' the best in the region??? This is by no means about Dunn, I'm a little confused on your reasoning... If thats the case shouldn't the other kid be considered one of the best in the region also????? Nothing wrong with being a little bias or blinders as you call to the kids we see the most..

Last year Lawhorn had the best season on the team. Dunn is the best pitcher hands down. When a player has a better season (wins) than another pitcher, that doesn't mean he is a better pitcher, it means as last year he had better run support etc as well as other factors such as who he went up against etc. Lawhorn is a great pitcher in my eyes, just not at Dunn's level.

 

Last year Dunn was snake bitten by the guys playing behind him. Many of his games were loaded with bad defensive play and errors galore, I remember 2 games where there were 6 errors in a single inning alone which allowed several runs all unearned.

There is a difference. Dunn is going DI for a reason, Lawhorn isn't.

Didn't really look at it as a game there "History". Some information was given per request. Look at him however you would like. It really doesn't matter. He's going to move on to the next level and that's all that really matters.

I don't think anyone would have been moaning if Dunn transferred to their school in December. Does he strike everyone out and always on top of his game? No, but he is the most projectable pitcher in the area. Are there some pitchers out there throwing 75mph undefeated? Sure, but at age 25 Dunn along with Ganns have the best chance at a career on the mound. Its a long hard road. No one knows the work those boys put in. I wish all NKY players success. I have yet to hear at a MLB game a pitcher's high school record anounced.

 

Nor the summer team they played on in high school.

I haven't seen it posted or printed anywhere else so I figured I would put it out there. Especially since some games have already been played.

Why do you love this thread? I'd say coaches were right on. They were a .500 team and are the classic case of a team getting hot at the right time.

Lol. Good for SK, but lets not get crazy. Theyve pkayed a very good tourney vs mediocre comp. Hazard couldnt even make it out of first round of all a finals. I hope they bring it home.

It certainly seems to me you hope they do not bring it home. UK#1 fan posted earlier this season SK might be the best team in Northern Kentucky. You laughed out loud then also. Maybe Hazard did lose in the all a tourney. They may have just had a bad day, but to call state tourney teams mediocre makes me think you and Beech Bum are still upset about the first round debacle by Beechwood in the 9th region tourney.

Totally agree! Stringer and Bright boys should have stayed at SK!
