Your the one freakin out, I just made an observation that cal has to be part of the problem, then u attack me about BEING ON THE LEDGE. I can't see ANY cat fan thinking they are a better team now than then, except maybe in free throw shooting

Was anyone else just waiting for someone to pull a Webber and call a timeout we didn't have late in the game today?

Folks it is all on Cal. He isn't that good a coach. He is 42-20 over last 2 years.

Tubby was 44-25 his last two season at UK.

Billy G was 40-27 over his last two seasons.

So why not demand change? Cal is responsible.

If that is the case, then Cal is also responsible for:

1. An Elite Eight appearance with an overall #1 Seed in the Tourney. 2010.

2. A Final Four appearance from a #4 seed in the Regional. 2011

3. A National Championship from an overall #1 seed. 2012.

Now we can add how bad the last two years have been. But what was Tubby prior to his last 2 seasons? Did they compare to those facts above? Billy G?

Has Cal checked out? He has not appeared happy or upbeat the entire season. Radio commentators in Lexington have mentioned that at various times. He is skilpping pre-game/post-game interviews and letting assistants handle it. Is he tired of providing answers to a fan base that wants answers and keeps questioning the approach? He makes 'marketing' like statements - like going 40-0; and then before the last losses he said the team was still in the running for a top seed in the NCAA. The extremely sophisticated fan base does not just buy into that type of hyperbolic statements without something to base them on. And so the marketing statements do not work on a large chuck of BBN.

But in general, he just seems much more unhappy this year.

Based on today's events a logical question would be - do the players believe that he has checked out? They seemed much more animated and interested after the ejection.

Makes one wonder.

All the young teams have had their struggles too this year not just UK. All the fair weather fans come out of the woodwork when a team struggles. If this team wins in the tourney I don't want to hear from any of you. Maybe Cal isn't the issue maybe it's your unrealistic goals year in and year out? Teams will struggle and it's not unordinary. Some of these comments are emabrassing really. Rant over

Agree.

Could this be the best thing for UK? Obviously the wheels could fall off but could hitting rock bottom actually help the Cats?

I don't think so personally, as March approaches so does mock draft city. Guys who may have wanted to leave are now realizing they may not be good enough to go get paid.

I didn't hear any complaining the first 3 years now this team and last years struggle and it doesn't work all of a sudden. This whole idea of Cal being the issue is hillarious.

So is the Cal apologists whenever someone questions his moves.

Cal is a great recruiter.

Cal also has his issues. Cal's teams have for the most part always seemed to struggle at the FT line. Go back to his days at Memphis, he would have another NCAA title if his team could hit a FT, same as this year and last year.

Cal has to take some blame, he is the one coaching this team, the same team that makes the same mistakes they did in the first week of the season.

I'm not saying Cal doesn't have faults because every coach does, but to blame a season a failure before it's ending yet and blame it on Cal is ridiculous

How prophetic is this statement?!

A group of the best players in the nation. But they just don't click. It all comes down to karma and this team just doesn't have it.

Damn that silly Karma.

How prophetic is this statement?!

I wish people would listen to me more often
