January 20, 201412 yr full of squares who are entirely too sensitive. Or people who think it's possible to trash talk & be respectful at the same time.
January 20, 201412 yr I think he graduated so he's obviously not an idiot. He's working on his Masters now according to Wikipedia. That's irrelevant now because a microphone was shoved in his face the second the biggest game of his life was over, and he let his emotions speak for him. He's now an ignorant thug.
January 20, 201412 yr Or people who think it's possible to trash talk & be respectful at the same time. Do you know that Crabtree was being respectful to him?
January 20, 201412 yr I think he graduated so he's obviously not an idiot. He's working on his Masters now according to Wikipedia. He is not an idiot. He is an intelligent guy who just acted like a classless idiot.
January 20, 201412 yr Do you know that Crabtree was being respectful to him? They were trash talking during the game. That's part of it. Everybody gets that. Drawing all the attention to yourself after your team just qualified for the biggest sporting event ever?
January 20, 201412 yr Generally, guys get a little time to wind down before a postgame interview -- Or they're not on the field and making the game winning play as it happens. These guys are human, and have to talk themselves up to make plays. Do you all think their conversations are friendly on the field? No, they're talking smack to each other back and forth and doing what they have to do to motivate themselves to get up for the big play. What's surprising to me is that you all are surprised.
January 20, 201412 yr They were trash talking during the game. That's part of it. Everybody gets that. Drawing all the attention to yourself after your team just qualified for the biggest sporting event ever? You really think Sherman went into that interview thinking "I'm about to make this all about me."? Highly unlikely, IMO.
January 20, 201412 yr Sherman is a passionate player, especially only immediately after making the game winning play. Give him time to wind down and the result is different -- As shown in the interviews after that. He was on a high, and you guys are going to make it the story. I just made those points on Facebook to people that were killing him. Who didn't know that wasn't going to be his response after a hard fought contest. Go, Seahawks!
January 20, 201412 yr You really think Sherman went into that interview thinking "I'm about to make this all about me."? Highly unlikely, IMO. I don't know how he could have went into it any other way. Again, the Seattle Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl. But Sherman has now made sure that the conversation is about him.
January 20, 201412 yr I guess I'm old school. I don't go for that stuff. You have to have a little self control. It shouldn't be all about me ---"I'm the best" etc.
January 20, 201412 yr I don't know how he could have went into it any other way. Again, the Seattle Seahawks are going to the Super Bowl. But Sherman has now made sure that the conversation is about him. Maybe for tonight... Not for the entire two weeks until the Super Bowl.
January 20, 201412 yr You really think Sherman went into that interview thinking "I'm about to make this all about me."? Highly unlikely, IMO. No, it comes natural and done without thought
