For all you Sherman haters, LOB!

Left On Base?

I've been on these forums for 10 years. Show me where I've cried about anything. I've always been the first to congratulate an opponent on an outcome and I never look for excuses. I'll take just one example, and I'll shut up about it.

Sherman's cocky. It's not new news.

I can't recall anyone trying to show up a Seahawks player so I wouldn't know where to start. If the rolls are reversed and Crab makes that catch and does the same thing Sherman did, no way you come on here and congratulate him. That's stupid. At least own your bias. At the very least you'll avoid the thread completely.

Your going to put Sherman in the same sentence in regards to the way he acted in that interview with Peyton Manning, possibly the most humble player in the NFL, Tom Brady, and Wes Welker? Wow, well it makes sense now. Ill kindly leave this thread. I didn't realize you were that out of touch. You show me one time when any of those three have ever, EVER acted that way in an interview and ill buy ya a steak dinner.

And for the others. Your really going to talk about a professional athlete not being a role model after one of you just told me I would enjoy sports more if I relaxed? So you enjoy your sports but you never idolized a professional athlete growing up? MJ, Pete Rose, Favre, nobody? It doesn't matter, if your a pro, kids look up to you, it comes with the job whether you like it or not. Not a role model??? You have about as much of a brain as Richard Sherman does.[/QU

For whats it worth i loved me some Ozzie Smith but i never attempted a backflip.

I am biased. I love all things Seattle Seahawks, and I wear that with a badge of pride.

That said, you have no basis to say how I would or would not react if the roles were reversed.

All I said was do you not think Brady and Manning go back and forth with defensive players?

You misunderstood the question like you misunderstood Sherman's interview.

LOB!

I misunderstood nothing. I chose to ignore your question because of its ignorance. Not once, anywhere in this thread have i talked about any player talking on the field. Key words there are "on the field". My issue lies in the utter stupidity displayed when a microphone is put in front of your face.

Roles.

Enjoyed watching yes. My kids have grown up watching sports from birth. They have their favorite players but they were taught the do's and dont's and the rights and wrongs by dear ole dad.

You're.

If being "on the field" in your focus, Sherman was, technically, "on the field."

You're a crappy fan if someone tries to show up your team and you congratulate him. That's silly and I don't buy it. Not sure why it's hard for you to admit if the roleswere reversed that you wouldn't be mad about the lack of class.

I once broke up with my (now) wife because she called too soon after a Seahawks loss... I can't get mad at a guy for being fired up.

(Unfortunately, that's a true story)...

Buy what you want and call me a crappy fan, I care not pal.

So which is it? Dump your wife over a loss or congratulate a clown for showing up one of your guys? Total contradiction in reactions. I don't think you're a crappy fan. I think you're blowing smoke with "if the roles were reversed I'd congratulate the player." Can't stand that fake stuff. If my player did it I'd laugh about it too, likewise I'd be livid if it was done to my player. That's called being a realist and honest.

I know I'm late...but Sherman is and always has been a punk. Tonight he was like school on Sunday...no class.

Makes me want Manning and the Broncos to win even more. Can't stand Carrol or Sherman.

I don't see the contradiction. If you try to talk to me immediately after a game, I may be a jerk. If you give me time to cool off, I'm cool.

That's how it is. If you don't believe me, that's fine too.

Crabtree responds. I hope we get a twitter fight.

@KingCrab15: Film don't lie... @nflnetwork @espn pull up the tape of that game and show me where this guy is the best? #fake #fake #fake
