January 20, 201412 yr Why in the world is an NFL player a role model and why would any parent let that happen? Just another go-to phrase whenever anything goes outside what they're accustomed to.
January 20, 201412 yr I've seen thousands of post game interviews in all sports, game winning/losing or whatever, never seen a worst one than this.
January 20, 201412 yr Truly disgusting how anybody on this thread could try to defend the way Sherman acted during that interview. No excuse. Your a role model. Your a professional. You want to be "great", then you learn how to win "great". Not act like a grade school punk you just won a parking lot game of 2 hand touch. SMH What did he do that wouldn't make him a role model? Is he not the best corner in the game? You not think Peyton or Brady go back and forth while playing? What do you think Wes Qelker would say if he caught the game-winning TD against the Pats, and the. Someone puts a mic in his face? These guys get excited, Sherman made a game-winning play. I'd be upset if he WASNT amped up!

If he wouldn't have been yelling no one would throw any fuss over this. Don't stick a mic in a guys face seconds after the biggest play of his already great career.

He gets paid to do what he just did. As for the rest of it like it or not it is what it is.
January 20, 201412 yr Why in the world is an NFL player a role model and why would any parent let that happen? Bingo. He's a professional, not a role model.
January 20, 201412 yr Why in the world is an NFL player a role model and why would any parent let that happen? Because they are bad parents.
January 20, 201412 yr Seriously, when are we going to talk about the damn game? Kaep isn't an elite NFL QB and never will be. I thought Russell played well. Not great, not bad, but managed the game and let his D do the rest.
January 20, 201412 yr Kaep isn't an elite NFL QB and never will be. I thought Russell played well. Not great, not bad, but managed the game and let his D do the rest. Pretty spot-on. Russell has been off since week 12 or so. He's always thrown a high ball (causing receivers to have to jump to catch them fairly often) but as of late, it seems to have gotten even higher. Hopefully he gets it together before the Super Bowl.
January 20, 201412 yr GO SEAHAWKS!!!!!! Defense wins championships and Peyton is a colossal postseason choker and Welker will drop 3 wide open passes. We all know what's going to happen. We've seen this before. So a guy going to his 3rd Super Bowl is a choker? What does that make Marino, Namath, Favre, Young and how many others?
January 20, 201412 yr Kaep isn't an elite NFL QB and never will be. I thought Russell played well. Not great, not bad, but managed the game and let his D do the rest. Kaep will be fine. It's his second year.
January 20, 201412 yr So a guy going to his 3rd Super Bowl is a choker? What does that make Marino, Namath, Favre, Young and how many others? Smoker? Midnight toker?

If Seattle can get the same kind of pressure against Manning as they did tonight, then they have a pretty good chance in the SB. They need to chase Manning off his spot.
