Why in the world is an NFL player a role model and why would any parent let that happen?

 

Just another go-to phrase whenever anything goes outside what they're accustomed to.

I've seen thousands of post game interviews in all sports, game winning/losing or whatever, never seen a worst one than this.

Truly disgusting how anybody on this thread could try to defend the way Sherman acted during that interview. No excuse. Your a role model. Your a professional. What did he do that wouldn't make him a role model? Is he not the best corner in the game? You not think Peyton or Brady go back and forth while playing? What do you think Wes Qelker would say if he caught the game-winning TD against the Pats, and the. Someone puts a mic in his face? These guys get excited, Sherman made a game-winning play. I'd be upset if he WASNT amped up!

He is a football player not a role model. He gets paid to do what he just did. As for the rest of it like it or not it is what it is.

Pretty spot-on. Russell has been off since week 12 or so. He's always thrown a high ball (causing receivers to have to jump to catch them fairly often) but as of late, it seems to have gotten even higher. Hopefully he gets it together before the Super Bowl.

If Seattle can get the same kind of pressure against Manning as they did tonight, then they have a pretty good chance in the SB. They need to chase Manning off his spot.
