May 6, 201511 yr Brunch Buffet at Bright House Field before the Blue Jays/Threshers game. I ate lots, and I mean lots, of scrambled eggs, cheese omelets, bacon, sausage, and ham. Also had a few hot dogs with sauerkraut, but no buns, though. MrsC and I have heard good things about the brunch at The Oyster Bar in St Petersburg. Have you been there?
May 6, 201511 yr Made a homemade "nacho bar" to celebrate Cinco de Mayo last night. Pretty solid. Have some buffalo chicken chili on tap for tonight.

May 6, 201511 yr MrsC and I have heard good things about the brunch at The Oyster Bar in St Petersburg. Have you been there? If you mean the Central Avenue Oyster Bar, I've never been there for their brunch, but I highly recommend it for dinner.

May 7, 201511 yr Yes that's it. Good to here. We're going to try it next time we're down. I was down there tonight, a block over at the Iron Yard on 1st Ave. South. Went to Central Cigar to try some of their stock and had to walk right by the Oyster Bar. I guess they've removed the Central Avenue from the name. Learn something new every day.
May 8, 201511 yr We ate out tonight at my favorite restaurant, Merrick Inn and ate on the Patio. It was so nice and relaxing. We met our good friends Larry Frost and his wife, we had such a good time. Even ran into several of some friends I hadn't seen in a few years. I had the pork chops (2) which came with mashed potatoes and gravy and 2 more sides. I chose snow peas with almonds and a spinach and tomato casserole, all was awesome. Mr. Sunrise, ordered flounder stuffed with crab and shrimp. I tasted it and will order it next time we go. He chose as his sides, mashed potatoes and the spinach and tomato casserole.
