I'll take CovCath by 4. If they are as good defensively as everyone who has seen them play says they are then I think they'll pull this one out in the end because of their defense.

I predict I will be at my second straight sell out. I was the first paying fan in the gym at the CCH/Holmes game so I don't expect to miss this one due to being late either. Does high school sports get any better than this? Come early and don't sit in the middle of the stands opposite the team benches. It never fails to have some unsuspecting fan sit there until the students swarm the arena.

I picked CCH against Holmes and I will stay loyal to the Colonels in this one too. The points really don't matter it is all bragging rights now.

C'mon Panda... don't tell anybody about this. It's adds nice humor to the evening when these unsuspecting poor souls become invaded. It would be fun if one of these people just figured, "If you can't beat'em, join'em", and became an honorary crazy for the night even if it meant someone's grandparents had to join in :sssh:

Might not be a huge Crazies Crowd on Friday night (at least Jr and Sr) as the NDA Silver Bells Dance is this Friday also!:idunno:

I heard that. Sometimes we see the boys (and their dates) there and they head over afterwards. I think that's why my son did when he was a Crazy.

I'll be curious to see how CovCath handles NewCath's size, but I'm thinking along these lines. I'll say CovCath by 2.

I'm not sure what it means, but the large-class team that they beat in Florida appeared to have at least comparable size to NewCath. Not sure how good they were, but by the tape measure, it appears to have been comparable. If nothing else, it should have given CovCath a little opportunity to get used to it and to help game plan against it.

I thought this dance was always the nite Cov Cath played Beechwood?? At least it seemed to me that was the case....

Yep, you got it right but not this year!

Breds are battle tested after the 2 big downstate Tourneys. I say they get the Colonels on the road. I think Pangallo can lock down CVH and too much beef down low with McDonald for CCH to handle. Weyer could also be a key player in this game with his length and ability to run the floor.

Not a public poll (no offense LB, I've done the same thing many times myself), but I'll throw my prediction out there anyway.

I'll take Newport Central Catholic by 5. I'm gonna say it will be a tight, low scoring game until they reverse their trend and get the lead late before pulling away with some points at the stripe.

I like Cov Cath in this one. Home gym and the Colonels are riding high with the victory over the Bulldogs and playing extremely well!!!
