CovCath didn't run a 1 / 4 clear out for Ruth one time on Tuesday, and they won't tonight. If you're saying that NewCath will be able to defend motion and screen offense well enough to keep guys from getting to the rim on back-cuts, which Holmes couldn't, I'll politely disagree.

 

Against a lot of teams / weaker guards, you'll see CovCath clear out for Ruth to deck guys at will, but Holmes and NewCath are far too good for that, as is Liam Rabe at Dixie. Therefore, CovCath will get to the basket in different ways, like Tuesday, and I think that will be what keeps them in the game. Schult and Schuh will be active and away from the basket, so Drew (whom I LOVE) and Jake will have to guard away from the basket. Jake's one weakness, in my opinion, is hedging ball screens and owning the ball until his teammate can recover, I'm certain that will be a factor tonight after watching Tuesday's game with Holmes.

For sure he did, and will, utilizing high ball screens especially. He will also try in order to free up jumpers, as you mentioned. However, just like the other night, you are going to see a lot of motion offense tonight, and lot less 1/4 clear out than you would against an inferior guard / team. Believe me, when there is a major mismatch for Ruth, they will flatten out their team and put that kid in a blender all night (as they've done twice this year in games I can think of, but won't mention so as not to paint any young men in bad lights) but Pangallo and NewCath, again, like Rabe and Bolden, are much too good to rely on that.

 

For sure they'll be aggressive, just in different ways.
