January 5, 201412 yr UL is a great program. But there is no way it is a destination job. Those are USC, Texas, Bama, etc. UL is a tier above UK but a tier below teams like UGA, Fl, A&M. UL could get a high quality assistant who would move on to those upper tiers if he's successful.

January 5, 201412 yr That's the prob, if they get a good coach who has success he's gone in 3-4 years. Maybe being in the ACC and having a realistic shot to complete for the title year in and year out would be enough to keep a coach. UofL has proven they will pay when a coach produces results, I think being in the ACC with FSU, Clemson, Miami, Va Tech and others makes the UofL job more desirable than it has ever been.
