Sec should change their name to the SOA conference or State of Alabama conference. Take away Auburn/Bama Sec is well just another conference. They have accounted for 4 of the 7.

The talking heads on ESPN last night said Florida State would have all kinds of problems stopping Auburn's running attack. No one else has lately.

Of course, Auburn's defense isn't going to stop the Seminoles either. It should be a high scoring battle with the 'last team with the ball could win' type scenario.

Alabama-Florida State was the game I wanted to see but it wasn't meant to be this year. This one will have to do. I think Auburn will keep it close but I feel FSU will win by a TD

We said the same thing a few years ago about Oregon when they played Auburn. Look how that turned out.

I seem to recall it took an ESPY award winning play for Auburn to seal it.

This FSU team>than any Oregon team ever.

Seminoles by 10+.

Lou Holtz said on the post games chatter that Florida State's coach recruited and coached in a style that was similar to SEC teams. He said in his opinion the Seminoles were really an SEC type program and he looked at the Florida State-Auburn matchup as a game between two SEC teams. I don't know if that makes any sense but that's what he said.

He also said that Alabama was still a better team than Auburn. That they got beat in a hostile environment, played them even for for all but the final seconds, and was beaten on an unusual fluke score.

But it is what it is. I think it will still be a good championship game.

So glad an SEC team will be in the finals. But the streak will end this year. Auburn keeps it tight for 3 quarters and FSU pulls away in the 4th.

FSU 42 AU 28

I've been saying that on Facebook before I knew Lou Holtz was saying it. Makes perfect sense. Especially since Jimbo coached under Saban and Les Miles at LSU before coming to FSU.

Yeah, but everyone thought the Ducks would hang 50 on Auburn that year and they didn't. This FSU team is legit, and I think they win...just not with a huge # on the board.

Gotcha.

Auburn's defense isn't one of the top 50 defenses in the nation. Do you know who had the second best defense in the SEC and ranked nationally at #10 overall?

Can't get anybody to answer that question.

Clemson and Miami would destroy Auburn.

Clemson and Miami would destroy Auburn.

You serious? When we going to learn ACC is all for show? Looks good with some of the explosive offenses like Clemson and FSU, but haven't we learned by now the ACC usually gets smacked in the mouth when they play the SEC or other conferences in BCS or top notch bowl games? I feel like we've been down this road before, team like Clemson looks dominate until they play someone from another conference.

FSU looks like the better team, but surprised to see so many people doubting and overlooking Auburn. This wasn't your normal Mizzou team, there's a reason they won the east. Solid defense and big time offense. Same with Bama which is likely the best team in the country regardless. You can't beat teams like that if you're not a good football team. That rushing attack is something like I've never seen before, going to be hard for anybody to stop it.

Clemson and Miami would destroy Auburn.

That's an absolutely inaccurate statement.

A lot of fans' wallets are lighter for betting against AU over the last few weeks.
