Read the post before mine. My point is who cares if a team on FSU's schedule would beat Auburn? Those teams are not playing them, FSU is.

Ah ok, I was confused. I hope the title game is as fun to watch as the SEC and B1G games were today. That's all I care about.

We'll never know. Bama couldn't tackle Chris Davis. Ironically Jimbo changed his long field goal unit and added more speed on the ends of their formation.

It's funny that lost in all of this SEC is the greatest banter.....isn't Jimbo Fisher an SEC/Nick Saban disciple?

We all owe Michigan State a debt of gratitude for allowing us a proper championship game. I think Florida State will end the SEC streak. Should be a good one.

So glad OSU got knocked off. It's hard to argue a team when they haven't lost in two seasons but they hadn't really played anybody and when they did they never looked overly impressive. At least you know an SEC team has went through the gauntlet and played a brutal schedule. I would take Auburn and Bama over OSU, even before the loss.

I think Alabama could beat FSU, but I think Auburn could probably lose although they deserve to be in the game more than Bama. If that makes any since? But even if we had the playoff it would have been like Auburn knocking them out so they definitely deserve it, I just think Bama's probably better and more well equipped to tame the Noles. Auburn can still beat them too Malzahn is an offensive wizard, it's just the defense that scares me. I'd have to go FSU if right now if pressured but it's hard to go against the SEC no matter how flawed a team may look. I feel like we should have learned this by now, but it has to change some time and now is as good of time as any.

So, does defense win championships? Because Auburn can't play defense for crap. Auburn's going to score, obviously. But I can't see them consistently stopping FSU.

 

FSU has a great O-Line, they have great WRs, and, oh yeah, a great QB. Auburn's key will be to get some pass rush, because FSU's receivers are going to dominate Auburn's secondary. I trust FSU's defense which has athletes all over to have some success against Auburn's rushing attack, and certainly more than Auburn's D against FSU.

 

Auburn is nothing but triple option from the gun. FSU plays assignment football, they will stop it.

 

FSU RBs get zero credit. Freeman, Wilder and Karlos freak Williams. Best 3 headed RB monster in the country.

We said the same thing a few years ago about Oregon when they played Auburn. Look how that turned out.
