He did not know the exact time. He thinks she would have been at about .10 at the time of the attack according to the prosecutors experts.

 

Meggs just said the experts estimated her BA number at the time of the incident was 1.0.

 

 

I wasn't sure, just threw that number out there as part of my question. I'm not sure what happened but hopefully both parties learned some life lesson's from it all.

She had a boyfriend. Wouldn't name him. A private investigator found the boyfriend. Got his DNA. Obviously it is not the unknown DNA found on her shorts.

The prosecutor is insinuating that her stories didn't match up with what their evidence and investigation showed. He said she seemed to have memory loss about the events and said no drugs were in her system that would help cause a memory loss.

She agreed to have a threesome with Winston and one of the homies... They did what they did, somebody probably found out about it, and said "You should say he raped you, you'll get paid."

I have no idea if he raped her or not. Fact is that just because no charges were filed doesn't mean it didn't happen. Means their isn't enough evidence to take to court.

 

The whole situation is a sad indictment on our society. We have grown adults (no one on here mind you) that don't give a crap about whether or not Winston did or didn't do what was alleged. All they care about is him being able to suit up on Saturdays. Whenever these cases arise with athletes involved, 90% of people give the athlete the benefit of the doubt, that it was "consensual", and that the alleged victim is just looking for a payday. These same cases make news when the accused isn't some famous sports star and it's the exact opposite. 90% of the public automatically assumes guilt.

 

We have fans that can't bear to think someone like Winston, who they worship every Saturday, could be anything other than the perfect poster boy for their school that they've envisioned.

 

As to the prosecutor having it in for FSU, have you seen the garbage some of your fellow FSU fans have spewed over the past month or so? Talking about how the prosecutor was making up the charges and that UF had paid them off to try to ruin their shot at a title, etc., etc., etc....

 

I saw plenty of assumed guilt out in multiple forums I was viewing. The reality is that having merely been accused he will be branded as a rapist by some. Ben Roethlisberger was never charged and is still branded. The accuser will be branded a liar by some, equally unfair.

 

No one will ever truly know except for Jameis and the accuser. But if no charges are filed, I can't at this point pretend to not view that as him being exonerated. I recognize not everyone will agree.

What a shock, a Fla. State Atty. determines that no charges will be filed on the Winston sexual assault case. Wow, unbelievable that a potential National Championship for a Florida State University and Heisman Trophy be awarded to a Florida State QB in the state capital which happens to be located in the same city as FSU, :lol2:. Did anyone honestly feel that any other conclusion would be made?

 

Did anyone else pick up on all the laughing, joking that was going on in a presser over a crime allegation as serious as sexual Assault ? That alone was an insult to the victim, accuser and their family no matter what the result of the states findings were. That presser alone gave the impression of one of those "good ol' boy", lets get out of here - I'm late for supper type investigation press conferences.

This entire case / alleged crime, whether or not there was imo a joke. I don't know if Winston was guilty or innocent and I don't think that anyone one here does either. I am not convicting Winston, just saying this entire investigation and presser gave the impression of a decision made before an investigation began.

I guess now that everyone can get back to the much more serious crime, prosecution of an ejected OSU football player "flipping off" the crowd above him as he was exiting the field of play. After all, that's far more important for him to be suspended or whether or not he was by his coach or conference. :popcorn: :lol2:

What the OSU lineman did was captured on live TV. We KNOW he is guilty of his actions. As far as Winston, you have no idea what happened. It's silly to criticize the prosecution for not filing charges when you don't know what evidence they have. You just wan't to assume that this young lady is telling the truth. After all nobody has ever lied about being the victim of a crime.

I just thank God he didn't come to OSU. I remember when they went down to Hueytown to see him. Hall gave the bird and is bashed for days, Jameis at OSU and this is a hall of fame/shame thread on here lol. At FSU he got the presumed innocent until guilty, not the case on here if he's a Buck.
