I know that these are two very good, solid teams. I will pick Mayfield, mainly bc they are the champs until someone beats them. Frankfort may just be that someone but I'll say Mayfield by 12.

Having seen the only team that did beat Mayfield 2013, I will say that any team wanting to be competitive against them will have to be able to make some passes early in order to open up their running game. If you try to run the ball down their throats you better have a huge OLine and great RB. Caldwell County ran for over 300 yards against Mayfield, but most of that came in the 2nd half, after Sindelar had hit his receivers several times.

 

One question, how good are Frankfort's DBs? Everybody is talking about Frankfort's offense, but nobody has ask the question,how is Franfort gonna stop Guhy, #23 Stuart Mills, and #22 Trajon Bright? Mayfield had one of the best OLines I have seen all year.

I love Lit late, they are rarely wrong, espically when there is a spread of 14.90 like there is between Mayfield and Frankfort. Plus at home where we have not lost in 5 years

I'd like to see Frankfort win, but believe Mayfield has too much balance. I'm thinking Mayfield by 14.

Please not another thread on could Mayfield win this or that class. That is a nice compliment Coach, but, all we can do is play in the class we're supposed to play in and we've got our hands full there and we know it. A lot of very good 1a teams this year.
