Great, even after playing on it last week under the wet conditions it is as good of shape as before. It is the best grass field I have ever witnessed. A few are its equal maybe but it is a perfect bermuda carpet

The locker room is crappie though and somthing burst Friday Night and flooded them out and did so badly but I'm sure they will have it fixed by Friday

Acree just now full strength from an injury that occured in week 2 of the season.

 

As for Fieger he was tackled and it look like a FHS player landed on the back of his leg. The young man got up in pain and and could not stand on his leg. The ball was snap and he dropped it and could not recover it.

 

For his sake it is best that he fumbled. I wouldnt want to think about what could have happened if he had continued to play. He really look injured bad and was not mobile at all. I hope all is well with the young man. I havent heard if it is broken.

On that play where the Beechwood QB dropped the snap, he was definitely hurt... I guess BW was trying to save their last timeout, but that kid in no way should have been in the game. Like CoachB said, it's a good thing that ball got away from him, I think it could have been much worse. Hoping for a speedy recovery for him.

Look as if Mayfield will have their best player back on Friday. Friend of mine in far WKY infromed me today he would be playing on Friday.

I was told he would dress but would hold him out Friday but he should be available if we make the state title game. Just dressing out though should be very helpful as Frank will have to game plan for him. I hope he gets some game time in but at thus point dont expect to see him play unless we make it to BG

I don't know about that. Frankfort is in the final 4, They should be a quality team like all the teams are. I look for this to be a challenge.

Kick off Friday night against Frankfort is 6:30 pm

Folks mayb Mayfield will blow the Panthers out. Frankfort realizes they are playing Class A best team. They realize they have been a great program for many years.

 

This group of 30 kids will travel for 4 1/2 hours on Friday and when they get off the bus and walk into the stadium those that see them will say they don't look like much. They not very big. They look like a rag-tag bunch.

 

Here is what will be said when they leave. Those boys laid it on the line and got after us for 4 quarters.

Who knows with a few turnovers or a few unexpected things occur Frankfort might be right there with few minutes to go.
