no mention of the game on JC website's athletic calendar.......long drive to get the forfeit but will be in great company for the ride down.....

Waiting on you, drive safe

Yeah, are the CovCath guys going to do this one. I know it's always a technical challenge to broadcast from down there.

The Cov. Cath. radio guys are always amusing. :D

The safe bet would be under. The only ways JC would throw more than 10 passes IMO would be if they are trailing by a few scores late or Cov. Cath is just absolutely loading the box .

Don't forget when up by 21 with 2 minutes left via a double reverse pass on the fake XP.

Especially when Grandma emails..."

This is what the Ashland Daily Independent predicts for tonight's game:

Johnson Central 48, Covington Catholic 14: Every time Johnson Central has entered a game that has the potential makings of a close one, it shattered that notion in a matter of minutes. This Golden Eagles team is legitimate, and they begin to truly reveal that tonight.

If JC comes anywhere close to doing that, Highlands should be worried. I know Highlands expects a tough battle, but they should be genuinely worried if that score above happens.

Was that on Comedy Central? The Onion? That is great stuff....

JC is good enough to win that big. I just think CovCath will show up and JC won't.

The safe bet would be under. The only ways JC would throw more than 10 passes IMO would be if they are trailing by a few scores late or Cov. Cath is just absolutely loading the box every time and bringing the house. JC is more equipped to pass this year than in years past but the run game is still there bread and butter. They do it nearly better than anyone so to go away from it would be crazy. I think u may see enough passing to keep the Cov. Cath D honest but that should be the extent of it. I also wouldnt be surprised to see Matney throw out a few things that he hasn't showed this year. It's nearly game time. All who make the trip down to Johnsonville safe travels and be prepared for a dandy game.

And of course..."The Music"

Is Dueling Banjos still the School's Fight Song?...:thumb:

Looks like it may get wet.. Ball protection is a must for both of these teams tonight. Turnovers could easily decide tonight's outcome.

That is a shame if weather determines the outcome.
