I believe as most do Highlands is NKY's best chance but this is probably the most vulnerable Bluebird team they have had during their current championship run. Highlands is the 4A favorite but I don't think its a slam dunk by any means as it has been in previous years.

 

Simon Kenton has a shot at getting to the big game but I am not sure they can beat whichever Louisville area school they may face.

 

I really don't think any of the other usual suspects (NCC & Beechwood) are real threats this year.

 

Top to bottom this has been a down year in NKY. I think Highlands will win State but I wouldn't be shocked if they don't. I think NKY is closer to getting 0 championship than they are of getting 2.

Amazing!!!!! I would say BG and HHS are by far the biggest locks to win state..

Yes, you are that far off base. If you haven't seen them play, don't let the scores and talk on here sway your opionion. I've never been more confident. They are VERY good. Boyle, JC and maybe a few others are good, but it would be a HUGE upset for any of them to beat HHS. I mean Huge!

IMVHO, if NewCath makes it to the finals, it will be a "tall task" for the Breds to repeat. CAL, Caldwell Co., & DeSales look mighty tough..........But you can bet your donkey I'm pullin' for 'em. :ylsuper:

NCC and BW stand a chance, although they're underdogs. NCC just needs a really good game in the title game and they have a legitimate chance. The toughest teams in 2A are on the West, and NCC's going to benefit from that. BW is always a contender, but I'd still expect Mayfield to take it. Highlands will more than likely win pending a crazy upset. No 5A NKY team has a chance, simply put. And SK has a small chance.
