November 7, 201312 yr Interesting how the story is now spinning in support of Incognito. A lot of stuff on ESPN with Dolphin players supporting Incognito. ESPN had a Miami Herald reporter on who blogged about how the Dolphins players are supporting Incognito. Players chalking it up to lockerroom talk, NFL toughening process, Incognito not being racist with black players saying he was considered "black" by them and saying Incognito was Martin's best friend on the team and some of that talk was just friendly ripping among friends.

Richie Incognito says it, and he's just messing with the guy. There is no right way to say it but Riley Cooper's connotation wasn't in the same manner as Richie Incognito's. Double standard or not it makes a HUGE difference.

November 7, 201312 yr After hearing about how Martin's agent called the GM and complained about Incognito's treatment of Martin before Martin left the team abruptly makes me feel like this is some kind of setup. Add in the SI article and I no longer have any sympathy for Jonathon Martin and actually feel bad for Richie. The teammates taking up for Richie speaks volumes IMO.
November 7, 201312 yr If someone was bulling me and asking for money and calling me names but I would wait until he sat down at his locker and then hit him right in the face with a helmet. No way I would let a man make me feel like he did this other guy. Just not my personality. Richie seems to have several friends on the team supporting him. I wonder if Martin knew full well if he took such action against Ritchie that with these friends of Ritchie's, it would not have been one on one but instead twelve on one and he would have gotten pummeled? Not saying that is the case but just wondering. With the testosterone driven, mucho Oscar Mayer Bologna attitude on NFL teams I could see a pack mentality forming where the quieter, more introverted guys could be targets.
