Cincinnati Bell Fioptics

Featured Replies

My Cincinnati Bell Fioptics cable TV service has been out of service for about 6 hours. It went out just as I sat down to watch the Bengals at 415. It did come back on for me to catch 1 inning of the World Series. Anyone else having the same problem?

I have a friend from Cincy that is going to fire them, demand a refund, sue them and maybe more because same thing happened to her.

Heard about the outage but had no problems with our service.

It affected all kinds of people from what I could tell on social media. Lots of people unhappy. They aren't going to have a very enjoyable Monday.

Mine was out until 11pm last night. I called and sat on hold for an hour. Just changed over from TW about 3 weeks ago and this is the second time service has been lost.

strongly considering going back to TW. FiOptics has been a mess at our house.

DishNetwork and the Hopper Rocks!!!!

Just saying

Left Cincy Bell over 10 years ago, that decision has made me happy happy happy.

I have direct TV and have had some trouble recently but that got taken care of when I got my dish realigned. I just dumped Cincy bell internet for Time warner because the service was lousy over the last year or so. Unfortunately, Time Warner hasn't been any better.

I agree. And when you called to tell them yesterday it was out, you got a busy signa then disconnectedl! Really!

I've had Fioptics for 2 months and it has been a DISASTER! If I could get through to them, I would fire them as well!

TWC has called and stopped by a couple times since I left to get me to come back, however, I wanted to give these guys a chance. The picture does seem a bit better, however, everything else is TERRIBLE!

I think the picture is better but if they keep having server outages, what's the point. Also have had tons of issues with the billing. Just a shame that they can't get the easy things fixed.

If they weren't going to answer the phone last night, they could have put up a message acknowledging the issue and a timeline. Still miffed with those guys.....

Had a similar issue 2 weeks ago. I've had the service for two years now. Year one I had zero problems. I've had several in the past 6 months.

The bolded hits the nail on the head for me. They are the phone company. When I call a phone company I expect they have figured out how to answer a phone call. I told them this a couple times, they never figured it out. Bye, bye Bell.

Cbell sent this to me:
