Tosh.O

I have always maintained that comedy is purely subjective. It is why I like Dane Cook but many people loathe him and think he sucks. I love how Tosh delivers his material and his demeanor. I will say in person he is incredibly awkward.

Many people hate Dane Cook because he steals jokes.

Ok. And a lot just do not find him funny. I did not find Napoleon Dynamite funny, but many claim it is the funniest movie known to man.

I don't think anything varies more between people than sense of humor. I have seen several professional stand up comedians, in person, and I have yet to see one that I thought was really funny. But I do not think profanity is funny.

If you watched an edited special you aren't getting the real deal. He's very funny.

It was edited to the point they muted out the cuss words but I don't think the content was edited. That said I will have to give him another go.

Thank you. I was starting to think I was the only one.

I love his show and standup. Usually hate the web redemption part of the show.

I'm a fan of Tosh.0. Some of his stuff is over the top, but in general, I find him funny.

I love the show. Only weak spots are web redemptions and whenever he gets naked and thinks he is funny.

Some of those Web Redemptions are awesome!!!! Crying wrestling fan, ICP fan, etc.

I agree, some of the web redemptions are so funny it brings me to tears.

I do laugh more often than not during his show. The one thing I personally feel is off limits are mentally disabled people. I just think jokes about Down syndrome are not funny at all.

I can't really get into this show... Ridiculousness > Tosh.0

Basically the same type of show, only two different approaches. Ridiculousness basically pumps up whatever is happening in the video, then will make a quick observation from the video and sometimes zero in to one aspect. They also throw in a celebrity guest to give it a little more splash. Tosh on the other hand is a master of the one liner. He is great at throwing out a hilarious one liner that goes along with the video. The video is usually pretty funny anyway, and even if it isn't funny enough to make you laugh he will usually come over the top with a hysterical one liner that usually puts it over the top and causes you to lose it. I mean they both can be hit and miss with some stuff but I feel ridiculousness causes you to laugh based on the videos, tosh adds a funnier dimension to go along with the video. Shows I've seen the same videos played it's usually the ones on tosh.0 that are funnier, using the same clips. I like both shows, I just feel that format is perfectly suited for tosh's comedy. Besides it's all a matter of preference anyway everyone will be different

I just don't get into Tosh's style of comedy. I'm sure many do and that's fine, it's just not my thing.

I'm the same way. I liked his first special, but as time went on, I feel like he amplified all the aspects of his act I didn't enjoy and the ones I liked went away.
