Thursday Night Games

Is this the best decision the NFL has made in a long time??

I absolutely love having a game in the middle of the week to watch. I used to always hate having to wait the entire week until we got more football.

What does everyone think?

I'm a big fan for the reason you stated. In addition, with fantasy football, depending on how many you or your opponent have that play in the TNF game, you can see what you're up against over the weekend.

I don't have the NFL network so no impact for me.

You need to get with the times my friend...:lol2: :D

I'm a cheapskate. Basic cable does more than enough for me. :sorry:

I enjoy it, though I wish they chose better games most weeks. I guess the networks are reluctant to give up too many prime choices.

I actually love it even though I don't watch many of the games. I just like it as an option. With only 4 games shown on Sunday it just gives me one more to see if I want.

The games often times aren't very good, most likely because the teams just played 4 days ago. I wish there was a way that the Thursday night teams would both be coming off byes. That would make the games better.

I have a love/hate with it. I basically give up my Sunday's for football. And it's awesome. But if I watch the Monday and Thursday night games then I get a lot less done or give up other things a lot more than I want to. Then again: football.

This. I have had little desire to watch any of the garbage games they have given us but I like Thursday Night Games.

Bills/Browns? Really?

Tonight should have have been a better game. Who knew?

I'm with you on being a cheapskate. I don't watch many of them unless my fantasy QBs, or a team I enjoy watching (e.g. Bengals, Saints, and Broncos) are playing. If that happens, I find a friend with the Network. If they were are on NBC or something I'd watch them.

I like it though the quality sometimes suffers with a lack of preparation time.

This.

There are plenty of Thursday nights I'd rather see two crappy NFL teams play with some possibly fantasy implications than watch anything else on TV. If it's a crap game, it is what it is and I'd just do whatever it was I was planning on doing regardless. If it isn't, then it's just gravy. I feel like I learn the game better and appreciate it more just having one game on (the NFL network's complete football coverage just has a different feel from Monday Night Football and prime time, plus I usually have class-work early on Tuesday so I can't really watch like I'd want and still get everything done that I need to.
