Trinity 29 St. Xavier 17

Featured Replies

Davis played great, nagle played a lot better but still needs improvement, X defense needs to toughen up. T scored final 9 points of game as game was tied 20-17 with 9:27 left in game. I do like the chances in a rematch with walker healthy.

Yea, but is the story the "how" more so then the "who"?

Have to think Walker was certainly missed for X, what's his prognoses moving forward? Wondering if he should be back in time for the rematch?

This one has convinced me that Bowling Green is the best team in the state until someone proves otherwise.

St. Xavier being sans Walker was a big deal.

I think it could be a different game the second time around with Nagle playing better and Walker in the fold.

This never gets old. Way to go Rocks.

Congratulations to Trinity. A streak this long in an intense series like this one is no small achievement.

The game being played in the rain was probably more beneficial to St. Xavier than it was Trinity, so they overcame some adversity of their own in this one.

Yea, but is the cliche, "a win, is a win" true here? I have to think the Trinity fans did not leave the game feeling all warm and fuzzy.

No rain during game T made more plays. Too many penalties by X.

Till next time, Go Tigers

Why would you think that? Don't think it's the case.

Didn't know that, but the heavy showers before-hand likely had an advantageous effect for St. X nonetheless.

Wait, Walker didn't play? What happened?

Think it was a thigh.

Good game. Both teams played well, X made a couple of costly penalties late in the 4th quarter. A little disappointed in some of the defensive calls. X's secondary is not that good, and numerous times X would only rush 3 or 4 guys. Reggie had all day to find an open receiver. I understand you can't bring pressure every time, but help out the secondary by rushing Reggie's decision making.

X has to regroup because Male is waiting next week.
