I could not attend. How big was the crowd? I understand there was some inclement weather.

Good game. Both teams played well, X made a couple of costly penalties late in the 4th quarter. A little disappointed in some of the defensive calls. X's secondary is not that good, and numerous times X would only rush 3 or 4 guys. Reggie had all day to find an open receiver. I understand you can't bring pressure every time, but help out the secondary by rushing Reggie's decision making.

 

X has to regroup because Male is waiting next week.

 

Reggie did help them out with a bunch of overthrown balls though, so there's that.

Were they deep balls? IMO he has missed some open receivers deep this season so far.

Davis played great, nagle played a lot better but still needs improvement, X defense needs to toughen up. T scored final 9 points of game as game was tied 20-17 with 9:27 left in game. I do like the chances in a rematch with walker healthy.

 

I have never seen a game "tied" at 20-17 before.

Will was gracious in defeat, that was a new twist to the rivalry.

Walker better get well so the excuse monster can be put to sleep next time.

I obviously didn't mean to put tied, but I don't make excuses. Both teams played good games, T played better, this the outcome. Saying "I'm confident my team would perform better in a rematch with the best player on the field is not an excuse.

T won the game by 12, didn't play anywhere near a perfect game and outgained St. X by 150 yards.

 

I know Walker makes a difference but Davis is also a load and wouldn't have had the game he did with Walker in there. IMO

I thought the turning point was declining holding penalty and making it 4th and 3 for T instead of 3rd and 16. T gets first down and two plays later scores.
