If they did that, the wild card series would be over Wednesday and the next series opens on Thursday, the exact same day as it will this year.

If you watched the game last night, then you understand exactly what Ludwick was saying and exactly what "electric" is. And there has already been an article written on MLB.COM about how the fans were such an advantage. And all things considered, Ludwick is the only one who showed up last night with a bat. 3-4 with 2 doubles.
October 2, 201312 yr Yep. Let's ignore the fact the Reds choked last night, and give credit to the fans in the stadium. That was for sure a playoff atmosphere, which it will be tonight in Cleveland, and every night in every stadium throughout the playoffs. You don't get that night in and night out during the regular season. Of course someone with a vast knowledge of the game knows that. Right? Hopefully they sign Luddy to a 5 year 100 mil deal based of last night, he really deserves it...
