I want to make a point that if it wasnt for Coach Warner being there, Ryle would not have the feeder they have. He saw what was coming up talent wise and what was being coached at the lower levels and he did something about it, a good something, that is just now starting to take shape, to move on from him now would be a very bad decision by Ryle.

 

I could be wrong but as I recall Warner didn't have too much to do with the formation of the Union grade school/ middle school team. I think eventually he bought in, but if memory serves, it was a result of a few grade school coaches/Dads from the BCPWFL who organized and developed that group.

Not completely disagreeing with you, but for comparisons sake- for about 90% of the season, Cov Cath has been starting @ (6-7) Soph's and Jr's on Offense and (7) Soph's and Jr's on Defense every game. All injury related.

Ryle only had 3 seniors play offense and two play defense last week. I don't care who the coach is that is tough.

Warner originally was not apart of the Union Raiders, heck the person who put them together is not even apart of Ryle now. After the bricks were laid Warner came on board.

I might thinking of the wrong guy but if it is the guy I'm thinking of I don't believe that was the case. What I heard was that he is from eastern kentucky and moved back home for family reasons. I'm pretty sure his son is a qb and was a darn good one at that.

No this guy was head coach. He is from Ohio. His dad was a long time successful coach in Ohio. He is currently head coach at McEachern, GA. And recently had 3 straight years of 10 win seasons and beat Lowndes county in 10 and 11. Published several books.

You're talking about the Morgan family. His son is playing at Hazard, or one of those schools down there.
