From the looks of the Grant Cty Mafia, maybe Ryle should look a little south in Coach Kevin Siple. If they think he is the problem there, I'm sure he would love to have the talent to work with that Ryle has year in and year out. You want to see a program take off!

Ryle has a lot of injuries that has impacted their season. They are also very young. Starting many juniors and sophomores on defense and offense.

Really? Every year? This is the second year Ryle has been down. No excuses need to be made. Look at the amount of injuries this team has dealt with and the amount of young players playing. There's not a coaching staff around that would win there this year.

I did not make any excuses for the coach. My statement is that there are a lot of injuries and a lot of the kids starting are juniors and sophomores. That makes a difference when you are playing teams that playing a lot of seniors.

Not completely disagreeing with you, but for comparisons sake- for about 90% of the season, Cov Cath has been starting @ (6-7) Soph's and Jr's on Offense and (7) Soph's and Jr's on Defense every game. All injury related.

Makes sense that he needs to go, hes only one of two coaches in Big School NKY to make it to state finals in the last 17 or so years. :idunno:

I'm not really sure what point you are trying to make here. In 2011, Ryle went 7-3 after losing Elliot early in the season. If you ask me, that was a pretty remarkable coaching job that year. There wasn't a whole lot of talent on that team.

 

Of course they're going to have a low winning percentage over the past 2 years. They've been young, inexperienced, and injured. For whatever reason, you don't like the coaching staff, whether it's because your kid wasn't good enough or you weren't good enough to play for them, who knows.

Ryle's defense it always very well coached. Firing the defensive staff is not a wise decision. Offensively and special teams has under performed the last two years. I know that having 2 offensive coordinators in 2 years doesn't help, but do you really see promise from either phase offensively or special teams? The "buck" stops and starts with the head coach. Many students at Ryle don't play for one reason or another after their freshman year. Maybe a change would bring some much needed life into the program. However you feel about Warner, Ryle has too much talent to ever really be down consecutive years. Just my opinion

I want to make a point that if it wasnt for Coach Warner being there, Ryle would not have the feeder they have. He saw what was coming up talent wise and what was being coached at the lower levels and he did something about it, a good something, that is just now starting to take shape, to move on from him now would be a very bad decision by Ryle.

Okay they have been down for the last two year and have a low winning percentage against the teams you named. Look at the 8 years before that and compare the winning percentage to this. The athletes are there, now there should be NO excuses next year.
