Final. What a game.

Wonder if McCarthy is questioned on decision to go for it instead of kicking FG. We were debating it. I was leaning for FG and making Bengals score a TD to win.

Per FOX, Bengals first team in NFL history to win after leading by 14, then trailing by 16.

If you tell me Bengals are 2 pt home underdogs and we have 6 turnovers before game, I would have lost my house.

As a life long Bengals fan and former season ticket holder , this game seemed like the dozens of games I've seen us lose. But I'll take the win the defense deserved it. That defensive line is the best in football period . But my Lord can Dalton just not turn the ball over.

Helluva a game and helluva performance by the defense. They shut my man down. Very impressive.

Bengals have the defense to win a Super Bowl. But not an offense, as of right now.

Glad that Cinncy held on to win - however this wrecked my NFL picks for the week.

Packers are injured in a big way. The bye week is coming at a good time.

What do you mean Mal? The fact that I get on here and look at the update thread just now and see how you were calling me out on there, acting like you all were proved right. You mean the fact Hellbird kept saying most talented team my arse. The fact Hellbird stated that Dalton is horrible. Then you all get proven wrong in the end? So its ok to call me out and laugh on what I would say if they lose, but you won't stick around when that all got proved wrong? I know its troubling that the Bengals have backed me up more the last few years than everyone who disagrees with me lol but at least stick around to take it.

I lost track of turnovers.

 

I remember 4 fumbles counting Reggie Nelson's fumble. 3 were lost. 1 pick I recall. Did I forget 2?

Its pretty simple the 4 turnovers in the first half were ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC, and still is getting in its own way at times. However people talk how they can't be a top team. Well today the Bengals definitely didn't play their best and gave the team with the best offense in the league the ball 4 straight times inside their own 50 and yet still WON!! I mean that shows that this team must have a lot of talent, because it takes talent to make plays to overcome turnovers like that. This game featured a defense really making Rodgers look human, even though we have been told how bad the secondary is. This team has a QB who still had a a horrible pick but ended up outplaying Rodgers. This game right here did show how this team does have a lot of talent, and can be one of the top teams in the league. And they did this while still playing a sloppy game.

 

So to avoid long post by me just be happy with the win people! The last two years people have tried to make excuses for the Bengals success and still complain that is where the long post come from. We have a good team here, and no reason not to enjoy. They still have their flaws and will make some mistakes, but we have a very good team. So enjoy it, I only argue things because people try to be negative just to be negative. Enjoy it people!

So Mal please don't get out of the Bengal discussion for this week. I really won't say to much because I am just pumped about the win. The long post will only come when people still try to be only negative, and complain just to complain. The Bengals did today what people have been waiting for, and that was beat a top team. Even though people in the update thread definitely gave up on their chances by the post I seen.

 

I am all for good discussion, just not discussion that has bias to be negative for no reason, which is what we have a lot of which gets me going.
