It's either RG3 or Cam Newton for me.

I was listening to Hasselbeck on with Cowherd today. He said that unless you know how often the D gave up a late/last-minute lead (like yesterday) then it's hard to use that against him.

 

Very true. Playing "safety"/"prevent" would skew some stats.

I'd go with Cam Newton. I'm not an Andy Dalton fan, but he isn't rated as highly as Cam by most fans. Best thing the NFL could do id move Cam and Tebow to Jacksonville and have all the over rated dudes together.

Phillip Rivers is the most over-rated, IMO. He had a ton of talent around him and never won and since it has been put on his shoulders the franchise has gone to crap.

I'll give RGIII a bit of a pass at this point, he's two games into his second season. Had an entire off season of rehab and little to no work with the team...I'll wait until the end of the season to see if he needs to be thrown out with the cat.

I don't care what anybody says. If you have a ring - you're not overrated.

Matt Schaub - 3rd round draft pick. He's a quality starter. What more do you want out of a 3rd round pick.

Tony Romo - He's a I-aa QB who has over achieved. He is what he is, a sow's ear. No matter how much JJ wants to make him a silk purse.

Michael Vick - One of the most hyped players ever. Has achieved little or nothing.

Jay Cutler - 1st round draft pick, but 3rd QB overall. Don't know that he was rated that high to be called over rated. But I will say he has under achieved based on flashes of ability he has shown.

 

Matt Stafford - He's had some good moments and some bad and got hurt his first 2 years. He was however, the number one overall draft pick. If he doesn't start achieving real soon he moves to overrated.

Brady is a 3x Super Bowl champ. And he's been to 5 total Super Bowls. Who in the heck would say he's over rated?

I believe Vince was/is 34-19 as a starting QB and has shown to have that intangible clutch gene that Cam would love to have.

I don't think that he's a "current version of Vince Young". Vince Young doesn't really seem to be the brightest. Case in point, look at what he blew at Cheesecake Factory.

I think Brady is somewhat overrated, but not the MOST overrated. I think that would pretty much sum up my feelings on him. He's on a pedestal, and while I'm certainly not saying that he isn't a good player, I would say that some lists have him far too high in the G.O.A.T (greatest of all-time) rankings.

After Rodgers, Manning and Brees/Brady you can find flaws on almost all of them.

After watching the first half of MNF, maybe Dalton should be put on the list. He sux.

First have to be good for a while before you fall to overrated. He's average all around and has been.
