September 8, 201313 yr Exactly, disorganization and sloppy play. Just leaves a bad taste in your mouth. And let's not forget bad play on the field. The Bengals' vaunted and apparently overpaid defensive line did nothing. Maualuga and Kirkpatrick commit totally ignorant penalties. Our secondary didn't make a play all day. On virtually every key play in the game the Bengals PLAYERS (not coaches) got beat. Everyone in the Bengals locker room had a hand in this loss.

September 8, 201313 yr I have seen people pick the Bengals to win the super bowl. Should I post links to that to prove you wrong on that. Most national people have talked about how they are the most talented team and the announcers today even talked about it. So I could buy your argument if I was the only one since I am a Bengals fan but since people with no bias say the same as me. I Will stick to what I said instead of your opining which also bias because your use to negative and does not allow you a realistic opinion either Your 2005 defense finished 27th against the pass which you keep ignoring. They had three games that they got 15 interceptions. So for them to finish 27th shows had bad they were every play in a game that they didn't get an interception. Unless you have pure shut down corners on the whole field which most teams do not. If you give a quarterback all day to throw like they did today they will get picked apart not that complicated man With all that said the Bengals and coaches definitely blew this one. No excuse to have blown this game. I've been stuck traveling for most of the last 3 weeks. They've all been road trips. During that time I've listened almost exclusively to sports talk radio on Sirius/XM. I've listened to probably 25 different people give their Super Bowl picks on ESPN, Fox, NFL Radio, Mad Dog Radio and read the USA Today's preview. Exactly 1 person picked the Bengals to reach the Super Bowl and NONE of them mentioned the Bengals being the most talented team in the league. While most did mention the Bengals as an improving, playoff level team almost everyone tabbed the Broncos as the most talented team in the league--especially when Miller gets back. Most everyone had the Broncos first then some combination of the Seahawks, Texans and 49ers.
September 8, 201313 yr This is one of the best teams in the league. It should be a great season. Nothing wrong with losing to a possible playoff team on the road. With that said, I feel this is a make or break season for Dalton and Lewis. Marvin has to win a playoff game or I think it's time to look somewhere else.

September 8, 201313 yr No matter what talent you accumulate the close and big games come down to QB and coach. They are inferior to all the good teams at both spots.

Actually the only time I listen to 1530 really besides when a game is on, is when Mo Egger is on. I like him because he doesn't seem to have bias one way or another. He doesn't complain just to complain like others and see's the Bengals making good moves the last few years. However he also will say when the Bengals screw up like today, but won't act like its the end of the world like others and act like this one game shows something. As for the other things as I told you before I had no problem showing you links to things. I don't just throw things out there like you do sometimes and hope they stick. I actually do some reading and here are some links of people predicting the Bengals to make the Super Bowl and win the Super Bowl. CBS had three of its experts predicting the Bengals making it to the Super Bowl, and one picked them to win it. The NFL.com link has many of its people talking about how the Bengals are probably the most talented team in the AFC and the NFL, but they just pick the Bronco's and one or two others because of QB's like Peyton. Sports illustrated has two of its experts predicting the Bengals to the Super Bowl. NBC has one of its experts predicting the Super Bowl for the Bengals. Chris Mortenson has the Bengals ranked as the #1 team in the AFC for his rankings because of the talent they have. I mean I know you would love it if it was just me saying fake things like others on here have been known to do. However if I say something like other NFL national people are also saying the Bengals are the one of the most if not the most talented team in the NFL it is because I have heard or read it. If I say people are predicting the Bengals to Super Bowl it is because I heard, seen or read it. I know that goes against your whole well he is just saying these things because he looks through orange shaded glasses. Well people with no bias at all see that, and even the ones who didn't predict the Bengals going to the Super Bowl, they had the Bengals in the AFC Championship game. The talent is definitely there, more so since the Super Bowl years because the depth is so much more than 2005 team too. That is why people are predicting what they have predicted, however I admit we all messed up by not taking into account how the coaching could end up costing them games like today! NFL Expert Picks: Bandwagon filling up but can Bengals win it all? - CBSSports.com 2013 NFL predictions: Bengals, Patriots, Broncos to rise in AFC - NFL.com NFL predictions 2013 -- Super Bowl XLVIII, awards, New England Patriots - NFL - SI.com 2013 NFL Predictions: Super Bowl, MVP & more | Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia Bear of an opener
September 9, 201313 yr No matter what talent you accumulate the close and big games come down to QB and coach. They are inferior to all the good teams at both spots. Dalton looked much better today with the new weapons, besides that first interception which I admit was a bad bad decision. However he might end up proving you wrong as this season goes on. However the coaching has now held true with its bad game management for 11 years now, so sadly I can't say that opinion will change.

ESPN only had them 9th in their power ranking.

September 9, 201313 yr I believe they are the most talented team we have had since the Boomer days, however, that gets you nothing. You gotta play better. Last year the Ravens just rocked us in week 1 and we recovered. Let's see where this leads. I am still optimistic, but boy was I ticked today. They gave it away.
September 9, 201313 yr I guess I am hearing things again because Stuart Scott on Sportcenter just said the Bears didn't just beat the Bengals, they beat a team that a lot of the experts consider to be the most talented team top to bottom in the NFL. Check out sportcenter to hear it for yourselves if you still don't believe me that unbiased guys are also saying it about the Bengals.
September 9, 201313 yr Author I guess I am hearing things again because Stuart Scott on Sportcenter just said the Bears didn't just beat the Bengals, they beat a team that a lot of the experts consider to be the most talented team top to bottom in the NFL. Check out sportcenter to hear it for yourselves if you still don't believe me that unbiased guys are also saying it about the Bengals. Well as I've said in the past about this subject, I go by what I see and don't depend on what others say. I don't see the most talented team the Bengals have had in a long time. I see some of the best players we've had on the D-Line minus Peko who is a waste of space, but other than that I don't see the best talent. The LB's minus Burfict are avg at best, the secondary is horrible. On Offense we have AJ Green, the rest aren't the most talented we've had in a long time. You can keep cherry picking comments here and there but it apparently shows I know more than the guys you are listening to because last I checked I have been right on the money.

Last year the Ravens just rocked us in week 1 and we recovered. Let's see where this leads. I am still optimistic, but boy was I ticked today. They gave it away. Not even close to the talent we had in 2005 The only area we are much better than the 2005 team is the D-line.
September 9, 201313 yr Author NFL Expert Picks: Bandwagon filling up but can Bengals win it all? - CBSSports.com 2013 NFL predictions: Bengals, Patriots, Broncos to rise in AFC - NFL.com NFL predictions 2013 -- Super Bowl XLVIII, awards, New England Patriots - NFL - SI.com 2013 NFL Predictions: Super Bowl, MVP & more | Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia Bear of an opener I'm looking at the links you supplied and will comment on each one. The first one you supplied NFL Expert Picks: Bandwagon filling up but can Bengals win it all? - CBSSports.com says nothing about the most talented team....the word talent doesn't even come up nor do they even talk about the players. The second link 2013 NFL predictions: Bengals, Patriots, Broncos to rise in AFC - NFL.com has 2 out of 11 analyst say anything about them being the most talented team.....yet they were talking about who would win our division, 1 said most talent in the division in a division that is horrible this year isn't saying much. The third link NFL predictions 2013 -- Super Bowl XLVIII, awards, New England Patriots - NFL - SI.com also doesn't mention anything about being the most talented out of 7 analyst picking the season player awards only 2 Bengal players were mentioned out of 35 picks. They were also picking the SB winner and not 1 picked the Bengals to win. Your 4th link 2013 NFL Predictions: Super Bowl, MVP & more | Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia said absolutely nothing about The Bengals talent. Not only that, but they didn't even pick the Bengals to go to the SB and all the awards they predicted not one went to a Bengal. The last link you provided was from the Bengals web site lol....not even going to go into that except that a couple predictions just for the game against the Bears they had the Bears winning. So in conlcusion when you try and show us proof of what you are saying about the Bengals being the most talented team the bengals ever had or in the league this year, you may actually give us links where they actually say what you said they say. Out of all the links there is only 1 link where anyone says the bengals are the most talented, and that was just a couple people in the article out of 7 lol. Good try FC, but you are not only wrong, but the links you supplied to support your case didn't prove anything but people predict the Bengals to win a very VERY poor division this year. Oh, BTW, you also said in these links it had people predicting the Bengals to win the SB. There was only 1 link that had anyone predicting the Bengals to win the SB, and that article had 7 analyst predicting and only 1 out of 7 had the Bengals. So how is that so? If the Bengals are the most talented team in the entire league, how in the world would only 1 guy out of all of them pick the Bengals to win? I think what has happened with you when it comes to this years team is you have got The Bengals Flu. That is the flu that if anyone even mentions the Bengals and the SB or the word Talent in the same sentence you become delirious and automatically convince yourself that they are the best and everyone loves them because it's been so long since the word Bengals and Super Bowl have ever shown up together in the same sentence. Don't worry, the Dr is in, all you need to do is watch the re-run of yesterdays game, take 2 aspirin and call me in the morning.
