Yes great point!!! For once Marvin actually used his challenges perfectly, and if he didn't it would have cost them the game.

 

By the way I know I said I thought the Bengals made all the right decisions this off season, well I take that back now. I do think they made a mistake keeping Nugent over Josh Brown. Nugent is good at making kicks when doesn't seem to be to much pressure. However over the last few years, I have seen him miss to many very important kicks. Not talking about just at the end of games either. Field goals from right before half that he has missed, to field goals in the 4th that could cut a lead down or expand a lead. Then today he missed again. I know it was a 52 yarder, however he has always stuggled from long distance. I do think they missed up keeping him over Brown.

I agree with the Brown vs. Nugent. Brown made big kicks (one real big one in a place that is the hardest to kick), Nugent usually doesn't.

Yeah just like every chance you get in any thread you bring up the talent. Just like you jumped the gun in the middle of the Packers game saying most talented team my arse. When they showed they must be pretty darn talented to be able to overcome 4 turnovers to still beat one of the top teams in the NFL. I know you first hated the comment since I was probably one of the first people you heard say it, and you thought it was just me looking through my orange shaded glasses. But come on man majority of people even see it these days, and people with no bias in the situation. Yes its hard for you to get behind a franchise who has let you down so much, and so its hard to believe that they actually assembled such a talented team. Which is fine if you feel that way, I probably would too after all those years. However just making yourself look bad with these whole bashing the talent comments. Yes you felt the 2005 team had a better chance to make a run, and that is fine I can even buy that. However overall talent it was not close, and overall talent includes depth to man and not just starters. So move on past it and let it go and be happy that we do have that talent. Lets just hope now our QB can step his play up, and the coaching doesn't screw things up in games.

Last December your big thing was that you kept saying that I said the Bengals were great and going to win Super Bowl, blah, blah blah. I guess you didn't know Dre Kirkpatrick has been out with a pulled hamstring, Ghee has been out with a concussion, Taylor Mays basically is the 6th linebacker now and practicing there so thats another DB gone. Adam Jones was hurt going into last week and has another off field incident to worry about. Hall does have a strained hamstring and even you must know that a hamstring injury is one that is hard to go away and can get worst quickly. Nelson this week has been out with an unknown ailment. So yes even teams with a lot of depth do have to go out and sign someone when they have that many injuries going on. I know that is hard for you to comprehend because you have put forth such a great fight for the last month, even though I just pointed out for no reason. However now your to the point where is useless with you because people with no bias at all like you have for all the bad years can see how deep and talented this team is. Now will that talent translate into bigger things we will see, and as we both agree on it will come down to Dalton and coaches now messing it up.
