Saw Kid Rock last night and he was FABULOUS! He may not be straight up rap, but he puts on one hell of a show!

Favorite rap song of his - Cocky. It ain't braggin'.....:ylsuper:

The thread said one, but a lot of you guys were throwing out some classics that would be worthy of consideration.

If I get just one song...

Crossroads by Bone Thugs N Harmony

Man...you guys are killing me.

I was a big fan of their second album. Probably can't say the title on BGP. Hell, probably can't even say the song titles.

Efil4zaggin? That's a good one.

I keep coming back to this thread and every time I have a different answer.

I'm not doing well.

One hour ago, I said "to heck with it" and couldn't stop thinking about how much I used to love The Fugees "Fu-gee-la."

Right now, I can't stop listening to De La Soul tracks, especially "Me, Myself and I" and I'm about to delve back into Wu-Tang just to come back in here and tell you all about how "Winter Warz" from the first Ghostface album is the best track ever produced.

Efil4zaggin? That's a good one.

But it's not their second album.

I'll take the old school Snoop Dogg tunes over just about anything if I had to choose one.

May have to go old school and go Rappers delight. If you know how much I love to laugh and how serious I don't take anything it's probably the most fitting. Have to think if anything else comes to mind. For now Rappers delight is the first thing to pop in my head without reading the thread or thinking to hard about it.

Good party song but overall not even the same ballpark as most of the songs mentioned.

Would have to agree, that song doesn't change a mindset or just stick with you. That song just reminds me of why I'm single and the best part about it, there are plenty of ladies out there with big buns.

Mine would have to be the first rap song I ever listened to....Gangsta's Paradise

That one is certainly in my top 5. Still have that Dangerous Minds soundtrack..... Somewhere.

If I get just one song...

Ahhhh nice. East 1999. I think that was my first CD I owned with a restricted content label. My parents letting me listen to that junk are probably the reason I am such a failure..... Sarcasm my IPhone doesn't believe in smiling. .

..just one rap to listen to, what would it be? I'm curious what the answers will be in this thread considering the ages of the posters who will respond.

I've always listened to rap. Kinda weird probably to many, including my wife, ha. But back in my college days I started and have never stopped listening. I liked everything from the hard core stuff, to the hip-hop crossover stuff. Even the lame stuff from Hammer (MC, not Hammertime). Public Enemy was likely my favorite, and have to say that I really dug Ice Cube, Biggie, but my all time fave is Tupac. Currently, I like Drake's style, BOB's style, never been a huge fan of Wheezy, like 2Chains, but my current fave is Kendrick Lamar.

But as I've gotten older, if I had one song to listen to, it would have to be Changes by Tupac.

Bone, Thugs, & Harmony, "Tha Crossroads"

Next Question.

I don't even know what a hairline is anymore.

Hahaha, I know mine, eroding rapidly. I'm gonna be slick bald in 3 years. I'm 28.

I'd go with 99 Problems.

As a law student, that one is deep.

I own 1 concert DVD. It's Jay-Z selling out the Garden for it's first ever rap/hip-hop show.

Iconic. Enough said.
