August 15, 201313 yr Won the last three series, let's see if we can get another under our belts! 3 games behind Pitt .5 games behind St. Louis Let's get it done!
August 15, 201313 yr The Brewers are soooo bad, and without Buyin' Braun, this should be a much-needed sweep for the good guys!
August 15, 201313 yr Choo- 8 Frazier- 5 Votto- 3 Phillips- 4 Bruce- 9 Ludwick- 7 Mesoraco- 2 Cozart- 6 Cingrani- 1
August 16, 201313 yr Reds are doing what good teams do. Win the games you are supposed to win. They are rolling right now. 2.5 out. We may have a race on our hands
August 16, 201313 yr Gonna go to the wire with 41 games left. Reds have lots of Brewers games left. Toughest remaining - 4 Diamondbacks; 3 Dodgers, 7 Cards, 6 Pirates. Still have series with Cubs and Astros, also.
August 16, 201313 yr Author Didn't get a chance to watch any of the game last night, but glad to see the boys got it done again!
August 16, 201313 yr Cingrani is a boss. Someone tell Cueto his dreads are on the chopping block. The Reds trading Cueto seems to be a popular suggestion, but why? Cueto has shown that he can be a #1 starter and he's only 27 years old. He's only making $7.4 million this year and is scheduled to make $10 million next year. If he's healthy, he's worth that type of money. Unfortunately, he hasn't been healthy all year...which means his trade value is way down, as well. I think trading Cueto would be a big mistake at this point.

Here are the Reds probables for next season. Someone has to sit, so wanted to see who everyone though it should be Cueto Cingranni Leake Bailey Arroyo Latos I know Arroyo is up there in age, but the facts are this he leads the NL in wins since coming to the Reds, Cingranni is our only lefty and will only get better, Latos is a stud and young, Leake maybe best pitcher this year, Bailey immature with a couple no no's but is around 500 for career, Cueto proven #1 but movement of throw could be downfall. For me it is bye bye Bailey. I think he is a free-agent after next year, so get something for him in a trade? What does everyone think.
August 16, 201313 yr Arroyo won't be back next year. Most likely, you're right. If they do bring Arroyo back (which is doubtful), then I think Bailey is gone. You can never have too much pitching. 6 guys worthy of 5 spots is not a problem, in my opinion.
