Total hearsay! When Cooper first opened, a majority of the athletes were trying to stay away from Cooper because of the initial startup in 6A with such a small set of young athletes. So, were these kids you are referring to as using Aunts, Uncles and Grannies addresses doing this to be just in the school for academics or the band? I don't know of any that used fake addresses and played on any of the main sports teams at Cooper and I had a very close relationship with the program.

 

Hearsay? Really? And did I say athletics who used the fake addresses? No I did not but it happened as a lot of people in OakBrook and off Pleasant Valley road were quite upset when Cooper wasn't made available to them.

 

Are you going to deny that some work for the BC BOE so their children can attend the HS school of their choice and some are indeed athletics and we are not talking teachers but support staff?

 

As I stated there are ways around the closed district rules in Boone County.
