"It's unclear if the teen was a student at the time of the relationship. Bellevue Police are investigating the case."

This would be the key for me. Did the relationship begin while the kid was still in school?

My other question....where were the hot, 24-year old teachers when I was in school?

She wasn't fired, she resigned...

My mistake, I thought she was fired. I don't understand why she resigned then. Seems an admission of sorts by default.

Exactly.

My question is, though, that girl appears to be pretty. Not hot, but pretty. She didn't have any paramours around her age suiting her? She goes w/ an 18 year-old?

Exactly.

She wanted a guy still in his prime? :idunno: :lol2:
We certainly didn't have any!!!!!

No, we got cheated.

They were more discreet back then.....

Fixed that for you. :-) I don't understand why this became a new story before it has been confirmed that a law was even broken. Obviously, all of the aforementioned are at stake when throwing around such allegations. Why lead with a story before facts are available confirming an inappropriate relationship?

Because everyone focuses more on being "first" rather than being "right".

They were more discreet back then.....

And less hot.

Why in the world is this a story when there is absolutely nothing to report? In the news cast, "if if if". Well let me say this, IF I were her and no laws were broken and the kid were no longer a student, I would be asking a lawyer what I might be able to do to a tv station that ran a report like this.

Now, with that said...whats wrong with this chick? Hey, just by looking at her pic and the clip on the news report, shes pretty cute and I would bet dollars to doughnuts that she could have dozens and dozens of qualified adult male candidates closer to her age (25 according to the news cast) to pick from that have MUCH more to offer than an 18 yo kid fresh out of high school. I just don't get it.

What can you do to the TV station? Didn't they just report the facts? The teacher resigned and the police are investigating the alleged relationship. Don't see much you could go after there.

They just possibly "defamed" her and quite possibly ruined her career by suggesting she had an inappropriate relationship with a student. If it's just a 25 yo having sex with an 18 yo graduated student then to me they just wronged her big time. They could have run the story with no names unless or until conformation of some wrong doing was made. but maybe that's askng too much of news agencies today.
