May 29, 201313 yr Pinnacle. I can get boxes of them pretty cheap. Given my level of skill, there isn't much point to buying an expensive ball when it's not going to make it more than a few holes before finding the bottom of a pond or a heavy thicket.
May 29, 201313 yr Author For some strange reason I won't play with a Nike ball. I think it's a mental thing at this point. Played in a scramble and they gave us the new resin ball Nike makes. Felt like granite. Not a fan. The 20XIs aren't that way.
May 29, 201313 yr The Nike Vapor Blacks are decent. But I stick with the Pro V1's really easy to spin.
May 29, 201313 yr I play rewashed balls...the reason being, is that I go through more balls in a day than a New Jersey Hooker.
May 29, 201313 yr Author I'll switch back and forth between the Titleist Pro V1 X and the TaylorMade Penta. They sell the TP5s here at Walmart for 34bucks. Good ball for that price. I haven't played the Lethal, my son has and says it's the same as the TP5.

May 29, 201313 yr Usually Callaway Red or Taylor Made, but I will play anything. I found a Pro V1 the other day on hole 2 and played the rest of the way and shot better than I have all year. Wish I'd found a Pinnacle. Cause I don't think it was the ball.
May 29, 201313 yr ProV1, nxt tours, dt/solo Callaway tours or warbirds TaylorMade burners and RBZ's Bridgestone tours and e5's Have all of these in my bag and play a variety usually. These are my favorite balls to play although I've liked the Maxfli noodles in the past. The last few years these are the balls I buy and keep. Usually play the nxt, dt/solo, TaylorMade, or Bridgestone e5's off the tee and proV1's and other tour balls from there.
