What golfball do you play?

Featured Replies

I'm not skilled enough to tell a great difference. I'm not as gifted a ball striker as some. I have played the worst to the best, and my game is not much different. I do like to play now the Srixon Z-stars. I have had success with them, they're durable and feel good with the putter.

Anyone else?

Top Flite of any kind off the tee and Taylor Made and Pro V1 around the greens.

Podo! Just kidding...have to have been playing golf a looong time to remember those.

ProV1 is my favorite, and I usually get some as a birthday gift. However, there are a few more I like as well....Bridgestone E6 or E7, and I like the Callaway Tour IS, but I think it is discontinued. I like a ball that feels softer around the green, and I don't feel like I give up distance with the one's mentioned. I am sure there are other good ones I haven't tried. Oh, and another that is cheap and plays pretty well is the Noodle.

since when can you change your balls in between holes?

The one that is in my bag after it's predecessor went into the lake.

I use whatever I find in the woods when I'm looking for my ball. My bag is filled with various brands that I have found.

No and I won't until I get in the 5-8 handicap range, which might be never. :D

I like the 20XI, it's not rock hard. But I don't know what it really is about the Zstar but it seems to like me better, perhaps thats the thing.

When you lose them.

When you lose them.

Haha...one can change in between holes...just not during the hole...except in this mentioned event.

Titleist SoLos and Srixon 333s. Good for an old guy who hits it short and straight with a slow swing speed.

For some strange reason I won't play with a Nike ball. I think it's a mental thing at this point.
